About me and my therapy practice
My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe that meaningful change begins when we feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported in a space free from judgement.
I work integratively, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet each client's individual needs, experiences, and goals. My work is trauma-informed and considers the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, behaviours, physical wellbeing, and past experiences.
I specialise in eating disorders, anxiety, fertility counselling, and women's mental health, supporting individuals through challenges relating to self-esteem, body image, relationships, life transitions, and emotional wellbeing.
My background in both psychotherapy and nutrition allows me to take a holistic approach, particularly when working with difficulties surrounding food, body image, and physical health.
I aim to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions, developing greater self-awareness, and understanding patterns that may no longer serve them.
Above all, I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. I work at a pace that feels right for each individual, balancing compassion and curiosity with gentle challenge to support meaningful, lasting change.
Practice description
Beginning therapy can sometimes feel daunting, particularly if you are unsure where to start or have spent a long time managing things on your own. My aim is to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard, understood and supported.
I am an integrative psychotherapist and nutritionist specialising in eating disorders, anxiety, fertility counselling and women's mental health. I also support individuals experiencing difficulties with self-esteem, body image, perfectionism, relationships and significant life transitions.
Our work begins with getting to know you, understanding what has brought you to therapy and exploring what you would like to gain from our sessions. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed and tailored to your individual needs. I draw on evidence-based therapeutic approaches, combining emotional exploration and developing self-awareness with practical strategies where appropriate. I believe therapy can be both a space for compassion and an opportunity for gentle challenge, helping you recognise unhelpful patterns and develop meaningful, lasting change.
With my background in both psychotherapy and nutrition, I take a holistic approach, recognising the connection between our emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing.
I offer both in-person sessions in Jersey and online therapy, providing flexibility around your individual circumstances.
I also offer a free initial discovery call, giving us an opportunity to discuss what you are looking for, ask any questions and consider whether working together feels like the right fit.
My first session
I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, so my priority is to help you feel comfortable, supported and at ease from the very beginning.
I offer a complimentary initial discovery call, providing an opportunity for us to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together and whether I am the right therapist for you. You are also welcome to ask any questions about my approach or what to expect from therapy.
Our first full session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring your experiences, current challenges and personal goals in greater depth. I will ask some questions about your background, relevant history and emotional wellbeing to develop a fuller understanding of your individual needs.
There is no expectation to share everything in your first session. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you will always have a say in the direction of our work.
For clients seeking support with eating disorders or more complex difficulties, the initial assessment may involve exploring additional aspects of physical and psychological wellbeing to ensure that the support offered is appropriate and safe.
Above all, I want our first session to feel like the beginning of a collaborative, trusting therapeutic relationship, where you feel listened to, respected and supported.

Availability
I primarily see clients Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with limited availability for evening and weekend appointments. My schedule occasionally shifts based on client needs, and I do my best to offer flexibility when possible.
If I’m currently full, I maintain a short waitlist and reach out as soon as openings become available. I believe therapy works best when sessions are consistent and predictable, so I aim to find times that fit naturally within your week.
Any planned time away or changes to my schedule are always communicated in advance, and I make sure clients have appropriate support and resources during those periods.
If you’re interested in starting therapy or would like to know more about current availability, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d be happy to connect and discuss scheduling options.
About me and my therapy practice
In my practice, I create a space that is approachable, supportive, and human—so you can bring your real self, your true questions, and the full complexity of your life. My background as both a psychotherapist and a nutritionist gives me a unique lens: we don’t just talk about thoughts and feelings, we also explore how your body, your eating patterns, your lifestyle and your relationship with food and self are all part of the picture.
A Whole-Person Approach
I believe wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit—the recognition that everything we do, think, feel and believe affects our state of well-being. (As one author put it: “Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind and spirit…”.) So when we meet, we do more than just “talk.” We may look at how your physical health and your emotional health are intertwined: how your sleep, your movement, your nutrition, and your inner world all impact each other.
This means:
We’ll explore how you relate to food, your body, and yourself—not just “what you eat,” but what eating means to you, how you use it (or it uses you) for comfort, control, culture, coping, or conflict.
We’ll pay attention to how your body holds the story of your life—trauma, transition, stress show up physically as well as emotionally.
We’ll work on thoughts and feelings (what you tell yourself, how you feel in your body) and behavioural changes (how you move, how you eat, how you live day-to-day).
Collaborative and Transparent
Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, safe, and free to be open. That means I strive to be transparent in how I work—what the process is, what to expect, what we’re doing together. I aim to build a genuine collaboration: you don’t just show up and I “fix” you. Instead we explore together, taking your strengths, your pace, your goals as central.
Practice description
Tailored to Where You Are Right Now
Everyone brings a different story: maybe you’re recovering from trauma, maybe you’re navigating an eating disorder or complicated relationship with food, maybe you’re going through a major life transition or dealing with chronic stress. We’ll meet you where you are—and build from there.
What You Can Expect
A genuine partnership: we’ll check in together about how things are going, what’s working, what’s not.
Practical tools: you’ll leave with more than insight—you’ll leave with things you can try, reflect on, and revise.
Flexibility: real life is messy. We’ll adapt our work to your current phase—whether you’re in crisis, in gain, in healing, or in transition.
Compassion and clarity: you won’t be judged for where you are; you will be met with curiosity, respect, and actionable help.
Who This Is For
You might come to therapy with me if you’re:
Struggling with body-image issues, eating patterns, or a complex relationship with food and your body.
Coping with trauma, transitions, uncertainty, or long-standing patterns of self-criticism and perfectionism.
Ready to work on your inner life and how that shows up in your body, your habits, your relationships.
Wanting a therapist who honours your autonomy and helps you build a foundation of self-trust and self-care.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building the foundation for a supportive and collaborative relationship. I aim to create a calm and comfortable space where you can share what brings you to therapy at your own pace.
Before our first meeting, you’ll complete a brief intake form to help me learn a little about your background, goals, and what you’d like to focus on. This allows us to make the most of our time together and begin identifying areas for support.
During the session, we’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult or important lately and what you hope to gain from therapy. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right — there’s no pressure to cover everything at once. I’ll also share a bit about how I work, answer any questions about the process, and help you get a sense of what ongoing sessions might look like.
By the end of our first meeting, we’ll discuss whether the approach feels like a good fit and, if so, outline next steps together. My goal is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
The first session is billed at the same rate as ongoing sessions. If you have questions about scheduling or fees, I’m happy to go over those details before we meet.
