About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering person-centred counselling and Somatic Trauma Therapy in Clydebank, near Glasgow, and online across the UK. I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, stress, and major life transitions.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a significant step, particularly when you've been carrying difficult experiences on your own. My aim is to offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted, allowing you to explore whatever is troubling you at a pace that feels right.
My foundation is person-centred therapy, which means I believe that healing and growth happen through a genuine therapeutic relationship built on empathy, acceptance and trust. Together, we work to make sense of your experiences, strengthen your self-understanding and help you reconnect with your own inner resources.
Alongside person-centred counselling, I integrate Somatic Trauma Therapy where appropriate. Emotional distress and trauma can affect both the mind and the body, often leaving the nervous system feeling stuck in patterns of tension, overwhelm or disconnection. Somatic work gently brings awareness to bodily sensations alongside thoughts and emotions, helping you develop greater regulation, resilience and a renewed sense of safety. There is never any expectation to work in this way—it is simply another option if it feels helpful for you.
I offer therapy in both English and Polish.
Practice description
Beginning therapy is about finding a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. Whether you're coming with a specific issue or simply a sense that something doesn't feel right, we will work collaboratively to understand your experience and support the changes you hope to make.
Sessions are tailored to your individual needs. Some people benefit from talking through difficult experiences, while others find it helpful to slow down and notice how emotions are experienced in the body. Together we will find an approach that feels right for you, always respecting your pace and boundaries.
I work with clients experiencing a range of difficulties, including trauma, bereavement and loss, anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My aim is not only to help reduce distress but also to support you in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and a stronger connection with yourself.
I offer in-person sessions from my comfortable therapy room in Clydebank and online sessions for clients across the UK. I also work with clients using private health insurance and am recognised by Aviva, AXA Health, and WPA.
If you're considering therapy, I offer a free 15-minute introductory telephone or video call. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
