My first session

If you decide to book in with me we will have an initial 20 minute appointment. This is so that you can talk about what is bringing you to counselling and what you hope to achieve and also allows me time to assess if I am the right person to help you. This also gives you time to decide if you want to work with me.

If you decide to go ahead with counselling:

Duration: I offer short-term (6–12 sessions) and long-term (open-ended) counselling.

Commitment: I usually encourage an initial commitment of 6 weeks. This allows time to build our relationship and gives me a clear understanding of your needs before we realistically evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy.

Schedule: Sessions are usually weekly on the same day/time; however, this can be negotiated if required.

Flexibility: Sometimes you may only want a one-off session or a very brief intervention; there is no long-term obligation.

Combining my passion for CBT Counselling and a Holistic Bespoke Approach along with Addiction, Domestic Abuse and Trauma Specialism.

Tailoring your initial assessment to formulate a collaborative plan of your individual recovery program, combining talking therapy, education, evidence based interventions and Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Counselling to reach your full potential and happiness.

I am a Registered Member of BACP and a Recognised Advanced Practitioner Member with the Addiction Professionals Registration Body and Network. I follow GDPR and maintain professional boundaries and commitment to BACP ethical framework and principles.

If you or anyone close to you needs help or just want to talk, please do get in touch.
