About me and my therapy practice

I am a professional experienced psychotherapist, who provides individual therapy.

The most valuable aspect that I bring to my work is the ability to provide a positive therapeutic relationship with each individual I work with.

I work predominately in a psychodynamic way, but have further training and experience in CBT.

I offer both brief focused and open ended support tailored to your needs.

Practice description

Are you struggling in your relationships, with dating, or repeating the same patterns with different partners?

You might find yourself overthinking, feeling anxious in relationships, or wondering why you keep ending up in situations that leave you feeling hurt, rejected, or not quite good enough.

Clients often come to me feeling confused about their relationships and wanting to understand why the same patterns keep repeating.

I offer individual counselling for people who want to better understand their relationship patterns and create healthier, more secure connections. Whether you are dating, in a relationship, or going through a breakup, therapy can help you make sense of your experiences and begin to move forward.

Many of the people I work with feel confident in other areas of life, but find relationships more challenging. You may recognise yourself in some of the following:

• Repeating the same relationship patterns

• Dating anxiety or overthinking in relationships

• Fear of rejection or abandonment

• Losing confidence or a sense of yourself when you’re with someone

• Difficulty setting boundaries

• Feeling stuck after a breakup

I provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you. Together, we explore the underlying patterns in your relationships, including attachment and past experiences, and work towards helping you feel more confident, secure, and able to make different choices.

I believe in working collaboratively and at your pace, supporting you to develop greater self-awareness and create meaningful, lasting change.

I am an experienced psychotherapist offering individual counselling tailored to your needs. I offer both short-term focused therapy and longer-term, open-ended work.

I offer online and in-person counselling.

My first session

I always carry out an initial assessment session before beginning working together. This session can last up to an hour and a half to allow for me to gain a holistic understanding of you and your world.

This also allows for you to see what it feels like to work with me, and to be able to ask any questions you may have.

Finding someone you feel comfortable, safe and understood by are the key aspects that I feel need to be in place so that therapy can commence.
