About me and my therapy practice
I'm qualified as an Integrative Counsellor, which means I tailor our work to your individual needs drawing from different approaches. My practice is underlined by a person-centred philosophy, valuing empathy, authenticity and respect.
I'm registered and accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I'm a qualified clinical supervisor, and also work as a counselling tutor.
I work long or short term depending on your needs and requirements.
Practice description
I offer a warm, confidential and supportive space where we can explore what is happening for you at your own pace. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, past or present, and help you develop greater awareness, emotional resilience to achieve therapeutic change .
I believe that we all have an innate capacity for growth, healing and change. My aim is to support you in reconnecting with your authentic self, strengthening your sense of autonomy, and moving towards a life that feels more balanced, meaningful and fulfilling.
I work with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, trauma, identity issues, low self-esteem, and I have a particular interest in relationship concerns. Relationships shape many areas of our lives — our connections with partners, family and friends, our relationship with work and the wider world, and perhaps most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves. Exploring these patterns can offer powerful insight and support lasting change.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minutes initial consultation to give us the opportunity to meet, discuss what brings you to counselling, explore any questions and decide whether we are the right fit to work together.
The initial consultation can be done over the phone or online and upon deciding to continue in the first session we will have an assessment, explore goals and expectations for our work together.
