About me and my therapy practice
I work with women who are capable, thoughtful, and emotionally aware, but who feel unsettled or unsure in their relationships or in themselves. Often, this shows up as overthinking, self doubt, difficulty trusting their feelings, or taking too much emotional responsibility. My work is for women who want to feel more secure, confident, and steady, rather than constantly analysing themselves or their relationships.
My approach is relational, supportive, and grounded. I offer a calm, respectful space where you can slow things down, talk openly, and make sense of what is happening for you without judgement. Therapy is collaborative and shaped around what feels most important to you.
I work with attachment based and relational approaches, which means we explore how early experiences and past relationships influence how you relate to yourself and others today. We often look at patterns around closeness, boundaries, self worth, and emotional safety, particularly in intimate relationships. The aim is to help you feel more secure in who you are and clearer about what you need.
I also pay attention to the nervous system and how anxiety, overthinking, or emotional vigilance develop over time. These responses are understood as learned ways of coping rather than signs that something is wrong with you. As awareness grows, many women find they feel calmer, more grounded, and more able to trust themselves.
I do not offer advice or quick fixes. Instead, therapy supports deeper self trust, clearer boundaries, and a more settled sense of self, so you can move through relationships and life with greater confidence and ease.
I am a licensed therapist, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I hold a BSc in Person Centred Counselling. I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework and offer therapy that is professional, thoughtful, and client led.
Practice description
I offer 1:1 therapy in a calm, supportive, and focused way. Sessions are a space where you can talk openly, take your time, and feel listened to without judgement or pressure. You do not need to arrive with a plan or know exactly what you want to say. We begin with whatever feels most present for you.
All sessions are offered online, either by video call or phone call. This allows you to attend therapy from a space that feels comfortable and familiar, and to fit sessions around your life more easily.
My way of working is warm, attuned, and thoughtful. I will reflect patterns I notice, ask gentle questions, and support you to explore your feelings at a pace that feels manageable. Therapy with me is not about being fixed or pushed, but about understanding yourself more clearly and feeling more confident in how you respond to life and relationships.
I work within clear professional and ethical boundaries and in line with the standards of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. My aim is to offer a reliable, respectful therapeutic space where you can feel safe enough to explore what matters to you.
My first session
If you are considering therapy with me, I offer a free 10 minute introductory chat. This can take place by phone or video call and is a chance for you to ask any questions, get a sense of how I work, and see whether it feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to commit and no expectation that you will have everything worked out.
If you decide to go ahead, the first full session is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. We move at a pace that feels right for you. You do not need to share anything before you are ready, and there is no set agenda.
The first session is also a space to begin building a sense of safety and trust. Many people find it helpful simply to speak openly and feel listened to. From there, we can begin to explore patterns, feelings, and experiences in a way that supports clarity and steadiness over time.
