About me and my therapy practice
Hello! Thank you for reaching out. I am a trauma-informed, integrative counsellor/psychotherapist (accred). I work with individuals and couples. I am committed to your healing, wellbeing and growth.
My approach is focused on connecting with my clients and harnessing their inner resources for healing and growth.
I have a level-4 diploma in therapeutic counselling. My modality includes person-centred, psychodynamic, integrative and emotionally focused therapy. I am a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
I offer a compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental environment. My clients are from diverse socio-cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
I have lived and worked in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Jordan and the UK, and I support my clients with a cross-cultural understanding.
Building on my 25+ years of experience, I am on a continual journey of engaging with people to enable positive change.
Practice description
I offer in-person, online and phone sessions.
Before getting started, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation.
My first session
In our first session we both get a sense of each other and how we might work together.
I will ask a few questions and understand your reasons for coming to therapy.
Together we will also understand what you would like to achieve and how we can work towards your therapy goals.
My fee is £60 for individuals & £70 for couples.
You can pay either by cash during the session, or through bank transfer prior to / on the day of your counselling session.
