About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am an integrative psychotherapist and dialectical behaviour therapist working with groups and adults. I have been working in mental health for almost 20 years and have experience across a wide range of settings, including inpatient services, outpatient treatment, higher education settings, and charities. I also run my own private practice offering flexible online therapy to individuals and groups.
I consider myself to be an integrative therapist, drawing from both humanistic and behavioural approaches to therapy including DBT, CBT. How we work together will depend on your needs and preferences as we start our work. I offer 90-minute single-session therapy, where there is a specific problem that can be tackled with a brief intervention, short-term or time-limited therapy, open-ended long-term therapy, and DBT skills coaching where necessary.
Practice description
In addition to working with individuals, I have been developing and facilitating groups for many years. Group therapy can be a wonderful place to find a sense of belonging as you work through your problems while giving and receiving the support of your therapy group. I collaborate with some excellent therapists to offer different opportunities for being part of a group.
Currently, we are registering interest for two groups due to launch later in 2026. The first is an ADHD group, which has been developed specifically for people needing support while waiting for a diagnosis, or who are newly diagnosed and needing to make sense of what this means for them and to learn evidence-based strategies for coping with executive function difficulties.
Our Emerge & Thrive group is an 8-week therapeutic coaching group specifically for women. It offers a trauma-informed space that encourages safety, collaboration, and connection. Therapists gently present key theories and skills that can help women thrive in all areas of life.

My first session
Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is the most important part of starting therapy. I offer a free 15-minute introductory meeting online for anyone who is considering either a group programme or working with me 1:1. This meeting is without obligation and simply offers a space to ask any questions you may have, giving you an initial sense of whether we feel like a good fit. I am always happy to make referrals to trusted colleagues and services where appropriate.
In our first full session, We’ll explore at a comfortable pace for you, what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve or change.
DBT Skills Coaching: If you are seeking DBT skills, our first session will be a specialised assessment to ensure this approach meets your needs.
Group Programmes: Before joining a group, we will have an initial 50-minute individual assessment to help you prepare for the group dynamic.
