About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I'm Simon, I provide counselling for adults. If you are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck, making it hard for you enjoy life, I can support you to bring about change.

As your counsellor, I’ll provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel understood. Together, we’ll work on developing greater self-awareness and self-compassion, which I believe are key to creating lasting change. We’ll take time to explore the patterns and experiences behind your difficulties, and then focus on practical steps to support your well-being, confidence, and growth.

I provide counselling sessions online, making support accessible wherever you are. I’m an integrative therapist, trained in a range of psychological approaches, which means I can adapt how I work to best meet your individual needs. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling and am a fully accredited member of the BACP, working to their professional and ethical standards.

Finding the right therapist is important. That’s why I offer a free initial consultation, so you have the chance to ask questions and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit before deciding to continue.

Practice description

I believe therapy should reflect the uniqueness of each individual. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of psychological approaches to tailor our work to your specific needs and goals. My role is to support you in finding meaningful and helpful ways forward with the concerns you’re facing.

Creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood is central to how I work. You set the pace and choose what feels important to explore. I’m mindful of how past experiences can shape how we see ourselves, and I believe that understanding these patterns can lead to real and lasting change.

Whatever has brought you to counselling, we’ll work together to better understand what’s going on for you, and to explore ways of increasing self-compassion, shifting unhelpful thinking, and supporting your personal growth.

My first session

A good therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change, so finding someone who feels like the right fit really matters. To support that, I offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation. It’s a relaxed opportunity for us to talk about what you’re hoping for from therapy and for you to get a feel for how I work, without any pressure to commit. You’re welcome to ask questions, share as much or as little as you like, and see whether the connection feels comfortable.

If you decide to go ahead, our first full session will focus on what has brought you to counselling and how it’s impacting you emotionally, mentally, physically, and in your day-to-day life. From there, we can begin shaping some initial goals and a sense of direction for our work together, always at a pace that feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes life becomes harder than we feel able to manage, and even simple things can start to feel overwhelming. If you’re feeling stretched thin, anxious, low, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift, counselling can offer a steadier place to land and make sense of what’s going on.

I’m an integrative counsellor who offers a safe, supportive space for you to explore what’s troubling you and begin finding a way forward. I work online with adults navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, confidence issues, trauma, and work-related challenges. My experience includes providing short-term therapy for workplace wellbeing schemes, where I regularly support people dealing with pressure, burnout, and personal difficulties alongside busy lives. So I’m used to meeting clients exactly where they are and helping them make meaningful use of the time we have.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling and am a fully accredited member of the BACP, working to their professional and ethical standards.

If you’d like to get a sense of how we might work together, I offer a free introductory call so you can meet me, ask any questions, and see if it feels like a good fit.

Practice description

My aim is to offer a space where you feel met, understood, and able to talk openly without pressure. I work integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches so we can shape the sessions around your needs rather than fitting you into a single model. Some clients want time and room to explore their experiences at their own pace; others appreciate gentle guidance, tools, or a more focused approach. Together, we find the balance that supports you best.

I pay close attention to your emotional safety and the pace that feels right for you. When needed, I can offer practical strategies for managing anxiety, stress, or overwhelming thoughts, but I also value deeper, reflective work: understanding patterns, making sense of what has shaped you, and finding new ways of responding. My work is informed by specialist training in trauma, helping me to recognise the impact of difficult experiences while ensuring therapy remains steady, contained, and supportive.

Working together online can be just as personal and effective as meeting in person. Many clients find it easier to open up from the comfort of their own home, without the rush of travel or the pressure of a new environment. Sessions can feel calmer and more flexible, fitting more naturally around your life, work, and energy levels. We meet on a secure video platform, and once we begin, it’s simply two people talking: Focused, steady, and uninterrupted. Online therapy can make it easier to show up exactly as you are, which often allows the work to deepen more quickly and feel more sustainable over time.
