Availability

I currently have availability to take on new clients and offer a flexible schedule to accommodate different needs and routines.

I offer in-person sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from my therapy space in Nottingham. I also provide online and telephone sessions throughout the week for those who prefer to connect remotely or require greater flexibility.

I understand that life can be demanding, so I aim to offer appointment times that fit around work, family, and other commitments. If you’re unsure what format might suit you best, we can explore this together during our initial contact.

My goal is to provide a consistent, supportive space where you can focus on your wellbeing. I’ll always give notice of any planned time away from the practice to ensure continuity and clear communication.

About me and my therapy practice

About me and my therapy practice

I’m a qualified and accredited psychotherapist offering a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels difficult or unclear right now. My approach is Humanistic Integrative, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models to meet you as an individual rather than fitting you into a single way of working.

I believe that real change happens through connection and understanding. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, thoughts, and emotions at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you make sense of what’s happening and find ways forward that feel more authentic and empowering.

I have experience working with adults and young people on a range of issues including trauma, abuse, loss, identity, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients come to therapy after a period of holding things in, unsure how to express what they’re feeling. I understand how hard it can be to reach out, and my aim is to make the process as open and supportive as possible.

As a therapist, I’m down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I see therapy as a collaborative journey — not about being “fixed,” but about discovering more of who you are and learning to respond to life’s challenges with greater awareness and self-compassion.

Sessions are available in person, online, or by phone, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and comfort.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, confidential, and supportive environment where you can feel safe to talk openly and explore what’s happening in your life. I understand that reaching out for therapy can take courage, especially if you’re not used to sharing how you feel. My role is to meet you where you are and support you in finding clarity, strength, and a deeper sense of self-understanding.

As a Humanistic Integrative therapist, I draw on different therapeutic models to suit your individual needs. This means we’ll work in a way that feels natural and meaningful for you — whether that’s exploring past experiences, making sense of emotions, or focusing on what’s happening in the present moment.

You can expect our sessions to be collaborative and grounded. I don’t offer quick fixes or advice, but instead help you build awareness and develop tools that support lasting change. Together, we’ll explore patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck, while also recognising your strengths and potential for growth.

Clients often describe me as warm, real, and easy to talk to. I believe in the power of human connection and see therapy as a space where you can be truly seen and heard without judgement.

Sessions are available in person, online, or by phone, offering flexibility and consistency in how we work together.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s brought you to therapy. There’s no pressure to go into too much detail — we move at your pace. Some clients like to talk things through, while others find it easier to write down their thoughts or bring a note or letter to share. Whatever feels most comfortable for you is completely okay.

During this session, we’ll explore what you hope to gain from therapy and discuss how we might work together. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and check that you feel comfortable with the process.

I don’t offer a structured assessment form or questionnaire. Instead, I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where we can begin to build trust and understanding.

The first session is charged at the standard rate, and you’re welcome to take time afterwards to decide if you’d like to continue.

My aim is for you to leave the session with a sense of what therapy with me might feel like and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
