About me and my therapy practice
I offer a space where you can talk about what it’s really like to live with a your chronic or long‑term health condition. I know that illness affects far more than your body, it can change how you feel about yourself, your relationships, and your day‑to‑day life.
My approach is integrative, which means I use different therapeutic models depending on what you need, and we go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I also draw on relational, psychodynamic, compassionate and parts‑based approaches to help you understand your emotions, patterns, and inner experiences.
In our sessions, we might explore things like overwhelm, frustration, grief, identity changes, or the pressure to “keep going” when you’re exhausted. Together, we look at what’s happening for you and find kinder, more manageable ways of coping.
I don’t offer quick fixes or tell you what to do. Instead, I support you to understand yourself more deeply and to build emotional strength in a way that feels steady and realistic.
If you’re wondering whether this way of working might help, you’re welcome to read more about my practice or get in touch.

If you're based in Bristol or prefer online sessions and living with a long-term health condition, I invite you to get in touch. Together, we can explore how therapy may help you manage emotional challenges, rediscover your sense of self, and build a life that feels more meaningful.
My first session
In our first session, we’ll take some time to talk about what’s been going on for you and what has brought you to therapy. This is a gentle conversation where you can share as much or as little as feels comfortable.
I’ll also go through the counselling agreement with you so you know what to expect from therapy, how I work, and what your rights are. You’re welcome to ask questions about anything, the agreement, my approach, or the practical side of sessions.
We’ll also check in about your wellbeing and whether you have support around you outside of therapy. This helps me understand how to best support you.
Together, we’ll start to get a sense of what you’re hoping for from therapy and what you’d like to work towards. There’s no pressure to have clear goals straight away, we can explore this together at your pace.

About me and my therapy practice
Behind every diagnosis and every day spent managing a chronic health condition, is a person with feelings, fears, and a story that deserves care. My practice offers a compassionate space to explore yours.
Living with a long-term health condition isn’t just a physical experience - it can deeply affect your emotions, relationships, and sense of identity. You may find yourself feeling anxious about the future, guilt around not being able to “do it all,” or grief for the life you once imagined. These feelings are valid, and you don’t have to face them alone.
I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in Bristol, specialising in emotional and mental support for people living with chronic illness and long-term health conditions. I offer a compassionate, calm space where you can explore the emotional impact of your health challenges, reconnect with your inner strength, and begin to feel more like yourself again - beyond your diagnosis.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by the daily demands of managing your health, adjusting to new limitations, or struggling with isolation, therapy can help you regain a sense of balance and control in the midst of uncertainty. Together, we can explore healthier ways to cope, strengthen your emotional wellbeing, and support you in living a life that feels more aligned and empowered.
