About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist working in both charity settings and private practice. I support individuals from early adolescence through to older adulthood, helping them navigate difficult life periods and regain a sense of stability and wellbeing. I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, and addiction.
I have supported clients dealing with trauma, PTSD, addiction, OCD, anger, depression, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, and challenges with behaviour change. My aim is to help you rediscover your confidence and find the freedom to live more fearlessly again.
Practice description
My approach is empathetic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I focus on meeting you where you are and working collaboratively to develop personalised strategies that support your wellbeing. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences safely. I believe in the power of collaboration.
Together, we will work toward creating meaningful and sustainable change in your life. My goal is to empower you to gain deeper insight into your thoughts and behaviours, develop effective coping skills, and feel more in control of your mental and emotional health. My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps you understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence each other. Together, we can develop practical tools and coping strategies to reduce distress and build resilience.
I tailor my approach to your individual needs, supporting you to make changes that feel realistic and sustainable. I believe everyone deserves a respectful, non-judgmental space to be heard. My aim is to help you gain confidence in managing your emotions and everyday challenges, and to support you in making lasting, positive changes as efficiently as possible.
