About me and my therapy practice
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I take a realistic approach to the work. I will stick with you.
Practice description
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and positive change. Sometimes, however, life's challenges can make it difficult to see a way forward. I can help you to take a step back, gain perspective, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Through a supportive therapeutic relationship, you can discover new ways of coping, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful changes in your life.
I am a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and have worked with clients for over 8 years. I can offer several types of therapy. I recognise that every individual is unique, with their own experiences, values, and goals. I’ll take the time to understand your personal circumstances and tailor each session to your needs. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or looking for a space to reflect and grow, we will work collaboratively at a pace that feels comfortable.
I am able to support adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, bereavement, relationship challenges, life transitions, work-related pressures, and emotional wellbeing. Whatever has brought you to counselling, you do not have to face it alone.
Counselling is not about being given answers or being told what to do. Instead, it is a process that helps you explore your experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and find solutions that feel right for you. By gaining insight into patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour, many clients experience greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. Reaching out for support requires courage, and I’m committed to making the process as comfortable and welcoming as possible. From your initial enquiry through to ongoing sessions, you will be treated with empathy, respect, and genuine care.
