About me and my therapy practice
About me
Supporting you to reconnect with yourself, gently and whole-heartedly — body, mind and soul.
I'm an Integrative Embodied Counsellor and Coach, offering a warm, trauma-informed and relational space to support people experiencing anxiety, low self-worth, or disconnection from themselves. I specialise in helping clients who carry the belief that they are “not good enough” — a belief often rooted in early life experiences.
My approach combines talking therapy with somatic awareness, supporting clients to understand how past experiences have shaped both their thoughts and their bodies. Through gentle embodiment work, you can begin to feel safer, more connected, and more able to live from your values.
What I offer
I work with adults who may be:
• Struggling with anxiety, burnout or emotional overwhelm
• Living with the effects of trauma, grief or neglect
• Feeling disconnected, people-pleasing, or unsure of who they are
• Longing to rebuild self-trust and live more authentically
How I work
Together we explore how your nervous system responds to stress, and how to soothe, regulate and reconnect with your body’s wisdom. Sessions may include breathwork, mindfulness, movement or creative tools – always at your pace and with your consent.
Whether you're navigating a current challenge or healing long-held wounds, therapy can help you understand yourself more fully and move toward a more grounded, compassionate way of being.
I will also soon be offering a digital self-led programme called My Good Enough Heart, which complements therapy by specifically supporting women to explore and shift their internalised beliefs around not being good enough.
Practice description
As an Integrative Embodied Counsellor and Coach my job is to support clients to restore connection between mind, body and soul. I work holistically to help you understand yourself more deeply and reconnect with who you truly are—especially if you’re carrying wounds from difficult childhoods or past experiences that have impacted your self-esteem or sense of worth.
Embodied therapy is about gently tuning into how your body responds to both daily life and past experiences.
Maybe your chest tightens when you step into a shop, or your breath shortens in a group. Maybe conflict leaves you drained and dissociated. These reactions are the body’s wisdom speaking—but often, they feel overwhelming or confusing. You don’t have to navigate them alone.
Together, we’ll explore how your body holds emotion, helping you make meaningful links between your inner experiences and physical sensations. This understanding can unlock greater self-compassion and choice.
Like talking therapy, this is about going inward—but embodied therapy adds the deep intelligence of the body. We’re not just making sense of the past with our minds—we’re also creating safety and healing from within.
I tailor sessions uniquely for you, drawing from practices such as:
Mindfulness & meditation
Movement & breathwork
Visual & creative tools
This work is about meeting yourself where you are—with care, curiosity, and compassion
My first session
What to Expect in Our First Sessions
In order to begin healing, we first need to create a sense of emotional and physical safety. This can be challenging if past experiences have left you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or out of control. That’s why, in our early sessions, we’ll gently focus on building trust and discovering what helps you feel safe, grounded, and supported.
Together, we’ll explore techniques and tools to help you:
Calm anxiety
Self-soothe
Reconnect when feeling disconnected or dissociated
Build a sense of inner control
Develop trust in yourself
Identify, feel, and express emotions
Understand and release held emotional patterns
You’ll begin to make links between your past experiences and how they live in your body today. This embodied understanding—what I call healing from the inside out—can help you develop deep self-compassion and make sense of the “why” behind your thoughts and feelings. You may start to see how the belief that you’re "not good enough" or the habit of self-doubt has been shaped by what you’ve lived through—not who you truly are.
From this place of understanding, you can begin to make choices that feel aligned with your needs, values, and inner truth—not just for surviving life, but for adapting, growing, and thriving.
Booking & Fees
I offer a free 20-minute consultation (by phone or online) so you can ask any questions and see if we’re a good fit.
If you choose to begin counselling, sessions are £60 and can be held online or in person. Payment is due 48 hours in advance of each session.
Why 'Heartspace'?
My practice is called heartspace because, for me, therapy is about connecting from the heart—with presence, compassion, and real listening. Whether we’re working together one-to-one or in a group, my intention is to support you in moving from heartbreak to heartspace: a place of deeper connection with yourself and the life you truly want to live.
