🌿 My practice is called Heartspace—a place to come home to yourself, whether through 1:1 therapy, group circles, or my upcoming digital programme: My Good Enough Heart

About me and my therapy practice

Do you long to feel differently—but don’t know where to begin?

If you’re thinking of starting counselling, you might be feeling anxious?

• Lost or fed up—tired of carrying heavy thoughts about yourself that just won’t shift?

• Maybe you’re stuck in cycles of self-criticism, low self-worth, low self esteem or uncomfortable feelings about your body or identity? Not sure who you are anymore?

• You might be finding it hard to trust yourself, your emotions may feel too much or not enough, and may be coming out in ways you can’t always control?

• Perhaps old memories sit close to the surface, or anxiety keeps pulling you away from the life you want to live?

Counselling can be a place to start—somewhere to feel supported, seen, and gently begin to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface.

What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel daunting and you might wonder:

• “Will they really get it?”

• “What if my problems are too much—or not enough?”

• “Will I feel judged or misunderstood?”

I understand those fears.

That’s why I offer a free 20-minute consultation—to help you get a feel for how I work, ask any questions (no question is silly), and explore whether this could be the right fit.

Sessions are led by you, at your pace. I’ll walk alongside you with care and curiosity, always working with you and without pressure.

Our early experiences shape how we see ourselves and the world. Sometimes, we lose touch with who we really are. My job is to help you to understand how that happened, and to look at what you want now, so you can live the life you really want.

Practice description

I am an Integrative counsellor which means that I'll get to know you and work with you to find out what works for you.

If you're someone who spends your life being there for others, but struggle to extend that same care towards yourself, I will support you to develop compassion and to support your own wellbeing.

I specialise in embodied and somatic work which means that I don’t just offer talking therapy. I also support you to tune into the feelings and sensations that are stored in your body. This can be helpful if you are struggling with anxiety, low self worth or trauma.

Listening to your body can help you to understand the things that your brain can’t quite put into words.

It helps with:

• letting go of painful memories

• regulating emotions

• managing anxiety

Albert Einstein said that “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” But it can be hard to know how to change our thinking, so instead I like to work creatively, so you can see things in different ways. This may mean, writing things down, drawing, using gentle movement, breathwork, guided visualisations or using objects such as stones or cards to think out of the box.

You already hold the wisdom you need—my role is to help you uncover it.

I work with adults and young people experiencing issues such as:

• Trauma & PTSD

• Anxiety & overwhelm

• People-pleasing & Perfectionism

• Low self-worth & Low Self esteem

• Childhood abuse

• Disconnection & emotional numbness

Ready to begin?

My clients often tell me they feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to who they are. They begin to set boundaries, trust themselves again, and feel more at home in their own skin.

My first session

Trauma, Anxiety & Low Self-Esteem

If you’ve experienced trauma—whether physical, emotional, or sexual abuse—you may find it hard to trust, speak openly, or feel safe in your own body. I want to gently reassure you: there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. Healing happens at your pace, and you will be met with compassion, not judgement.

I offer a calm, confidential space where you will be believed and supported. Together, we can begin to:

• Make sense of what’s happened and how it still affects you

• Understand and manage anxiety and flashbacks

• Release shame, blame or self-criticism

• Explore your relationships and emotional responses

• Reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe

• Regain a sense of control and possibility

You may also be navigating anxiety—racing thoughts, brain fog, tightness in your chest, or a sense of overwhelm that makes daily life feel harder than it should. Anxiety is a normal human response, but when it takes over, it can stop you from living the life you want.

Therapy can help you:

Understand the roots of your anxiety

Learn tools to calm your nervous system

Build confidence to face life’s challenges

If low self-esteem or low self-worth is part of your experience, you might find yourself constantly second-guessing your choices, over-apologising, or worrying what others think. You may be stuck in cycles of self-criticism—aware that your inner voice is harsh but unsure how to change it.

Our work together can help you:

Recognise and shift critical inner dialogue

Develop greater self-compassion

Build a stronger sense of who you are and what you need

Whatever you're carrying, you don’t have to do it alone. Let’s begin—gently, together.

If you’re ready to explore how therapy might support you, let’s talk.
