I work from an office in Warley Woods, Birmingham and currently have availability Saturdays between 9am and 3pm and potentially a night in the week could be arrange.I 

I use predominantly a Person Centered approach so talk through the issues you are experiencing. I will then incorporate some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy if it feels appropriate to keep the therapy going by way of tasks to be completed at home between sessions. Often goal setting is also used to motivate. 

I believe in a client being given the safe space in which to explore their thoughts and feelings without being judged. I then support the client to work out how issues can be looked at differently or what actions they can potentially take to change. I will not tell a client what they should/should not do. I will try to empower clients to have confidence in their own abilities/choices.

My first session with any client is used as a "getting to know you session". We will discuss issues and see if we are comfortable working together. Trust is important and both parties need to feel that they can work together.
