I work primarily online with adults across the UK, offering a safe, private and flexible way to access counselling and psychotherapy from wherever you are. Online sessions are delivered via a secure, confidential platform and provide the same warmth, attention and focus on the therapeutic relationship as my face to face work.

I have undertaken specific training in working therapeutically online, which enables me to offer an effective and supportive service. Many of my clients find that online therapy fits more easily around their work, family and travel commitments, whilst also allowing them to be in a comfortable and familiar environment.

I also see clients face to face from my practice in Knowle, Solihull and Dorridge for those who prefer in person sessions. However, the majority of my work is online and I welcome clients from all parts of the UK.

About me and my therapy practice

Life can sometimes become difficult in ways that are hard to explain. You might be struggling with something that has happened, feeling anxious, overwhelmed or low, or noticing that you keep finding yourself caught in the same thoughts, feelings or patterns. Perhaps life just feels heavier than it used to, or something doesn’t feel quite right and you’re not sure why. You don’t need to have it all worked out before you come to counselling.

I’m a warm, empathic and approachable BACP Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard. You don’t need to worry about saying the right thing, and there is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready. We can start wherever feels right for you.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression and low mood, stress, anger, low self-esteem and self-worth, grief, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties and significant life changes. You may overthink, worry about what other people think, find it difficult to say no or put other people’s needs before your own. Perhaps you understand what you’re doing but still can’t seem to change it, or find yourself repeating the same patterns and wondering why.

My approach is person-centred at its heart and integrative in the way I work, so therapy is shaped around you. Together, we can explore what is happening now, experiences or relationships that may have shaped you, and how you have come to think and feel about yourself.

I won’t tell you what you should do or how you should feel. Instead, I’ll work alongside you to help you understand yourself more fully, recognise what you need and become more confident in trusting your own feelings and choices.

If you’re wondering whether counselling might help, I offer a free initial conversation. There’s no obligation – it’s simply an opportunity to talk, ask questions and see whether you feel comfortable working with me.

Practice description

As a BACP Accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work to your individual needs, recognising that no single model is right for everyone.

My practice is grounded in person-centred therapy, with empathy, warmth and genuine understanding at the heart of our therapeutic relationship. Alongside this foundation, I integrate Polyvagal-informed perspectives to help us explore how your nervous system responds to stress, safety and connection.

Where appropriate, I also draw on Transactional Analysis, CBT-informed strategies, attachment theory and psychodynamic thinking to deepen self-awareness, make sense of patterns and relationships, and support meaningful, lasting change.

This blended approach allows us to look not only at what you’re experiencing now, but also at the past relationships and patterns that may still be affecting your emotional world today.

My aim is to help you build clarity, confidence and a stronger sense of personal agency. I believe meaningful therapeutic change grows from a relationship based on trust, safety and authenticity and a space where you can talk openly, feel truly heard, and explore your challenges at a pace that feels right for you.

My first session

When you contact me, I offer a free fifteen-minute telephone call so you can ask any questions about online counselling and get a sense of whether I’m the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to continue, it’s simply a chance to see how it feels, as feeling comfortable is one of the most important parts of effective therapy.

If you decide to go ahead, we will arrange an initial online session of up to 50 minutes. During this session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy, share relevant information, and explore together whether working online feels supportive and suitable for your needs.

If we choose to continue, we will arrange regular online sessions of 50 minutes. These are usually weekly, although fortnightly sessions or longer appointments can be offered where needed. Online therapy offers flexibility and consistency, allowing you to access support from a space where you feel safe and comfortable.
