I offer face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy for adults at my practices in Knowle, Dorridge and Solihull. Each provides a calm, private space where you can take time for yourself and talk about what matters to you.
I also offer online counselling, and where appropriate you can combine online and face-to-face sessions to fit around work, family and other commitments. I have completed additional training in online therapy and use a secure platform.
About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself overthinking, putting other people's needs before your own, or feeling that you're never quite good enough? Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety, relationships or emotions that feel difficult to manage.
Sometimes you know something isn't right but can't quite explain why. You may feel overwhelmed, low or disconnected from yourself, or notice the same worries and relationship patterns appearing again and again. Perhaps you understand what you're doing but still can't seem to change it. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling.
I'm a BACP Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with a warm, down-to-earth approach. I believe being genuinely heard and accepted can make a difference, especially if you're used to keeping things to yourself or trying to cope alone.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression and low mood, stress, anger, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and life changes. You might struggle to set boundaries, say no, trust your decisions or stop feeling responsible for other people's feelings.
My work is person-centred at heart and integrative in practice. That means I see you as an individual rather than fitting you into a fixed way of working. Together, we can explore what's happening now and, if helpful, how earlier experiences or relationships have shaped how you see yourself and others.
I won't tell you what to do or how to feel. I'll work alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, recognise patterns and develop greater confidence in your own needs, feelings and choices. Counselling isn't about becoming someone else; it's a chance to understand yourself more deeply and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Practice description
My practice is grounded in person-centred therapy. I value a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship and bring empathy, honesty and curiosity to our work. As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I draw on different approaches where they may be useful, while keeping your experiences and priorities at the centre.
I use polyvagal-informed perspectives to help explore how stress and our sense of safety can affect emotional and physical responses. I may also draw on Transactional Analysis, CBT-informed strategies, attachment theory and psychodynamic thinking. These can offer different ways to understand the links between past experiences, present difficulties and patterns in relationships. We can explore these together without assuming that any one explanation fits you.
Some clients want space to talk and feel understood; others also want to look more closely at recurring patterns or try different ways of responding. We can decide together what feels helpful.

I work primarily online with adults across the UK, offering a safe, private and flexible way to access counselling and psychotherapy from wherever you are. Online sessions are delivered via a secure, confidential platform and provide the same warmth, attention and focus on the therapeutic relationship as my face to face work.
I have undertaken specific training in working therapeutically online, which enables me to offer an effective and supportive service. Many of my clients find that online therapy fits more easily around their work, family and travel commitments, whilst also allowing them to be in a comfortable and familiar environment.
I also see clients face to face from my practice in Knowle, Solihull and Dorridge for those who prefer in person sessions. However, the majority of my work is online and I welcome clients from all parts of the UK.

When you contact me, I offer a free fifteen-minute telephone call so you can ask any questions about online counselling and get a sense of whether I’m the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to continue, it’s simply a chance to see how it feels, as feeling comfortable is one of the most important parts of effective therapy.
If you decide to go ahead, we will arrange an initial online session of up to 50 minutes. During this session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy, share relevant information, and explore together whether working online feels supportive and suitable for your needs.
If we choose to continue, we will arrange regular online sessions of 50 minutes. These are usually weekly, although fortnightly sessions or longer appointments can be offered where needed. Online therapy offers flexibility and consistency, allowing you to access support from a space where you feel safe and comfortable.
