About me and my therapy practice
At the heart of my counselling practice is providing a safe and collaborative space and relationship with my clients, where client needs and preferences are at the centre and flexibility is key.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I can bring a range of approaches to support clients through their counselling journey.
This supports clients to have more choice in what they might want to apply in their counselling and to work with the approaches they might want to utilise in their therapy.
I understand that the client might be unsure of what they want from therapy and what is most beneficial from their counselling.
This is where it is so important in my counselling for the client to have a space and relationship to explore and collaborate between each other.
My ability to offer a range of skills and approaches has been supported through:

Practice description
My counselling practice is flexible and client led. It is so important for the client that they are not only being provided a safe space to openly use - they are aware that I can offer the professional competency and skills to be able to explore and receive the counselling that is beneficial and effective in their counselling journey.
I provide a collaborative approach with my clients throughout the counselling, ensuring that their needs, preferences any potential goals are being understood and accepted.
Many clients are not sure what to cover in counselling, what counselling means and how to develop a relationship with myself. This further highlights the need of putting the client first and explore what might be helpful on an ongoing basis, being comfortable to freely explore.
Some clients already know what they want to explore, I can therefore offer tailored counselling to meet those goals.
I therefore engage with clients using both on a short or long term basis.
My first session
The client will have already held a free consultation session to have the opportunity to broadly understand my counselling approach and provide a brief overview of their reason to reach out for counselling. The client is under no obligation to engage in my counselling.
In the first session, myself and the client explore a bit further their needs and preferences, my role and develop a brief counselling contract
The first session is £60
