About me and my therapy practice

Life can be challenging, you don’t have to face it alone.

As Scott Peck wrote in The Road Less Travelled, “Life is difficult.” When you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure, counselling can help you find clarity, confidence, and a way forward.

Taking the first step towards therapy is a sign of strength. It means you’re ready to give yourself the time and space to reflect on your past, understand your present, and create the future you want.

I offer a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where you can talk openly without fear of judgement. With years of professional experience, I work with clients from all walks of life, helping them explore challenges, uncover insights, and build the tools they need to handle life’s ups and downs.

Therapy isn’t just about talking—it’s about feeling truly heard and understood, perhaps for the first time. Together, we can work towards greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a renewed sense of direction.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Practice description

Feel like life is overwhelming?

Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, low mood or the pain of a breakup. These feelings can leave you stuck, isolated, and unsure where to turn. You don’t have to go through it alone.

I’m a qualified counsellor working with both the NHS and private clients, and I’ve helped hundreds of people navigate some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. I understand that your challenges are unique, so there’s no “one size fits all” in my work.

Using a supportive, relational approach, I put you at the heart of the process. We’ll move at your pace, gently exploring what’s holding you back and uncovering practical ways forward. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, strengthen your self-understanding, and create the changes you need.

Your next step doesn’t have to be big — it just needs to be yours. If you’re ready to talk, I’m here to listen.

My first session

Take the first step toward lasting change

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so you can share what’s brought you here and what you hope to achieve. It’s a no-pressure chance to ask questions, explore how counselling can help, and see if we’re the right fit to work together.

If you decide to move forward, we’ll arrange a 30-minute Initial Assessment Session where we’ll dive deeper into your story and goals. Beforehand, you’ll receive a simple Assessment Form and Contract to complete, and during the assessment this will help us tailor a personalised plan just for you. Together, we’ll create a clear roadmap for your therapy journey—one that supports your growth and wellbeing every step of the way.

Investing in yourself is a powerful decision. I’m here to guide and support you as you create the changes you want in your life.
