About me and my therapy practice
We all experience emotions but are yours difficult to cope with in a busy life? Would you like strategies to help you cope and be listened to? Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile; reaching out for support can feel like a big step.
I am a person-centred counsellor working with children (10+), teenagers and adults, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. Counselling sessions are bespoke to your needs and adapted to how you are feeling each session.
While I support a wide range of issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties, I have a specialist focus in:
• Maternal mental health
• Pregnancy and birth trauma
• Miscarriage, baby loss and abortion
• Postnatal depression and PTSD
• Bereavement and grief
Alongside my professional training, I also bring personal understanding of loss and maternal mental health, which allows me to offer genuine empathy and a deeply supportive space when you may be feeling overwhelmed, isolated or unsure how to move forward.
How I Work
My approach is person-centred, meaning our sessions are guided by your needs, your pace, and what feels most important in that moment.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. You might come with a clear goal, or simply a feeling that something isn’t right. Together we can:
• Explore your thoughts and emotions safely
• Understand patterns and triggers
• Develop practical coping strategies
• Build confidence and self-esteem
• Help you feel more in control and less overwhelmed
• Improve your relationships with other people
• To find purpose and move forward
Practice description
I offer dedicated support for parents navigating the emotional impact of:
• Pregnancy and postnatal challenges
• Fertility issues
• Birth trauma
• Miscarriage and baby loss
• Adjustment to motherhood (matrescence)
These sessions are slightly longer to give you the time and space you need.
I understand how difficult it can be to access support with a baby, so Babies under 12 months are welcome in sessions (non-mobile).
Sessions are available:
• In person at 105 High Street, Evesham, WR11 4EB
• Online (Microsoft Teams)
• Telephone (UK only)
I recommend weekly or fortnightly sessions to maintain continuity and progress.
