About me and my therapy practice
I work with clients in my Kings Hill, Kent practice and online, alongside facilitating group programmes in residential treatment centres. I have extensive experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.
Do you sometimes feel stuck and conflicted? For example, one part of you might want you to take a risk and try something new, while another part feels scared and wants to keep you safe by avoiding it.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy sees these parts as trying to help you in their own ways - even when they pull you in opposite directions. Therapy helps you understand each part’s fears and intentions so they can work together instead of battling inside you.
It is particularly helpful with trauma and addiction because it gently uncovers the parts of you that carry emotional pain or try to cope with pain through problematic behaviours. By working with these parts, you can reduce inner conflict, heal emotional wounds, and create healthier ways to cope.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of therapy that helps you make sense of your inner world by seeing it as a collection of different “parts” - each with its own feelings, needs, and intentions. Instead of seeing your reactions as random or “too much,” IFS helps you get to know these parts of yourself, explore why they show up, and understand how to work with them, not against them.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor and member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). My time is currently split between working as a group facilitator and counsellor at a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment centre, seeing clients online and from my practice in Kings Hill, Kent.
My core training is in Person-Centred Therapy and I will draw on various other approaches to best suit each individual’s needs. Each session will be guided by you and we will move at a pace that feels appropriate. I will not judge you, no matter what you bring to your sessions. I will provide a safe and confidential space that allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings and I will not pressure you to explore anything you do not wish to. Counselling can give you greater personal insight, and I will support you in finding solutions to the difficulties you are currently experiencing. My aim is to help you create lasting change and help you to utilise your own resources moving forward.
