About me and my therapy practice

Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, particularly if you’re feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or at a point of change in your life. You may be experiencing emotional distress, navigating a life transition, or wanting to understand yourself and your relationships more fully. I aim to offer a thoughtful and supportive space where you can speak openly and feel heard.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor working with adults in Shoreditch, Old Street, and Woodford, as well as online. My approach is grounded in existential and relational psychotherapy, with a particular interest in the behavioural and relational patterns that can quietly shape how we move through the world. I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives to respond to each individual, working collaboratively and at a pace that feels right.I work with people facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, identity, relationship difficulties, loss, and life transitions.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience supporting individuals living with HIV and long-term health conditions, working sensitively with the emotional, relational, and identity-related impact of illness. I hold an MA (Hons) in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling (Existential) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling, and I am a registered member of the BACP, working in accordance with its Ethical Framework.

I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can take time to reflect on what’s happening in your life. If you are considering therapy and would like to explore whether working together might be a good fit, you are welcome to get in touch.

Practice description

I practise from a wellbeing space in Shoreditch called Hara House, which I co-founded with a colleague. Hara House offers a calm, restorative environment designed to help clients feel comfortable and supported. I also offer in-person therapy sessions at City Road, Old Street (EC1) and Woodford Green (IG8) and online sessions.

Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place on a weekly basis, allowing time for continuity and depth in the therapeutic work. I work collaboratively, offering a confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges at a pace that feels right for you.

My work is primarily talking therapy, though where helpful I may introduce simple grounding or breathing exercises to support emotional regulation and self-awareness, both within sessions and in everyday life. My aim is to create a supportive therapeutic relationship in which you can feel heard, reflect openly, and begin to develop greater understanding and choice.

My first session

Before starting therapy, I offer a free initial video consultation. This gives you an opportunity to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it, as well as to ask any questions you may have. I’ll also explain how I work as a therapist, so you can decide whether it feels right to begin working together.

If we decide to go ahead, the first therapy session is a chance for you to begin sharing what feels most important to you, and for me to start understanding your experiences and what you might like from therapy. We’ll talk through practical details, explore what has led you to seek therapy at this point, and consider how we might work together in a way that feels supportive and appropriate for you. There is no expectation to share more than you feel ready to; the first session is about beginning to explore what feels most important to you, at a pace that feels manageable and supportive, while laying the foundations for the therapeutic work.

Starting therapy can feel like a significant step, and my aim is to make the process as clear, considered, and supportive as possible from our first conversation onwards.
