About me and my therapy practice
I work integratively, drawing mainly on Psychosynthesis, alongside humanistic, psychodynamic and transpersonal approaches. Rather than applying one fixed method, I adapt the way I work to you and to what you bring.
Our work begins with listening. In the early sessions, we explore what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change, and we agree together how we will work. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you are always free to set the pace.
Psychosynthesis sees each of us as a whole person: body, feelings, mind and spirit. Together we might notice the different “parts” of you, such as the inner critic or the part that wants to please everyone, and get to know what each one needs. We may look at patterns that began earlier in life and how they show up today. Alongside talking, I sometimes offer simple practices if they feel right for you: imagery, breathing, body awareness, journalling or drawing. The aim is not to fix you, but to help you step back from what overwhelms you, reconnect with your own centre and make choices that feel truly yours.
I also offer walking sessions on Hampstead Heath. Walking side by side, outdoors can make it easier to talk, and many people find nature helps them feel calmer and more open.
Sessions last 60 minutes and usually take place weekly at the same time. We can work short-term on a specific issue, or longer-term if you want to explore more deeply. I see clients in person in Hampstead, on the Heath, and online, in English and Portuguese.
I attend regular clinical supervision and work within the BACP Ethical Framework. Everything you share is confidential, within the limits we discuss at the start.
Sessions are available in both English and Portuguese.
Practice description
Grieving, caught in an addiction, or living between two countries and two languages? Sometimes life asks us to find our footing again, and it can be hard to do that alone.
I’m an integrative Psychosynthesis therapist with 12 years’ experience. I see clients in Hampstead, on walking sessions on Hampstead Heath, and online, in English and Portuguese.
I work with bereavement and loss, addiction and recovery (including love addiction and co-dependency), identity and life between cultures, and life transitions. Psychosynthesis looks at the whole person: the parts of us in conflict, the patterns we carry from the past, and our sense of meaning and direction. Together we make room for all of it, at your pace.
I offer a free 20-minute call so you can ask questions and see how it feels to talk with me.
My first session
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other. You can tell me what has brought you to therapy, at whatever pace feels right, and ask me anything about how I work. Together we’ll think about what you’d like from our sessions and whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure to commit to more.
