I am a counsellor and therapist based in Churchtown, Southport, offering a range of therapeutic services including Person-Centred Counselling, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), as well as therapeutic play and creative counselling for adults and children. In our initial session, we can explore which approach would be most beneficial and appropriate for you or your child. I have availability on Tuesdays for face-to-face sessions in Churchtown Village, or remote sessions via Zoom or telephone.
About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and CBT Therapist, I offer a warm, non-judgemental, empathic, and confidential space for you to explore the issues, barriers, and challenges that may be causing distress or hindering your progress. Whether life feels overwhelming, you’re facing specific goals, or dealing with something that feels too difficult to manage on your own, I am here to help.
I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of issues and life experiences. I specialise in working with people who have neurological or chronic health conditions, as well as their family members. This could include adjusting to life after a stroke, managing the effects of Long Covid or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), or navigating the challenges of an Autism or ADHD diagnosis.
Even if you don't relate to these examples, if you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or the emotional impact of a difficult event, we can work together to help make sense of your feelings and find a way forward.
In addition to traditional Person Centred talking therapy, I am qualified in CBT and CBT for insomnia (CBT-I) and use both structured CBT techniques and creative approaches to support you.
