Practice description
The sessions are for 1hr
I offer a warm, empathic, confidential, kind and peaceful space for my clients.
I always offer a therapeutic contract agreement, as this is a legal requirement.
It's very brave and courageous for anyone to seek therapy. I have been through this process myself, therefore I do understand and resonate how difficult this can be for some.
I contract with my clients to talk about the issues that THEY want to bring.
Co-creatively I support clients and help them explore their thoughts and feelings, which fuel behaviours.
My mantra (if you like) is to support and help every client get to a place in their lives where they can move on with happiness, contentment and peace.
My first session
The first session is about introductions.
Initially for a few mins I share about myself, who I am and why I do what I do.
I always ensure that my client feels safe, comfortable and that they feel that the space offered is protecting them regards confidentiality.
I work with all my clients co-creatively, in alliance, with empathy, respect and psychological attunement.
Using all the above, It is important, in my work, to develop a good working relationship with my client to help establish and create a space for therapy to take place.
