About me and my therapy practice

I'm Hayley, a warm, intuitive and compassionate Therapist. I am passionate about helping and supporting you deal with any current or past issues causing you psychological distress or discomfort. I offer a calm, safe space to facilitate healing where you will be listened to, valued and heard.

I specialise in any relationship, communication, identity, self esteem and confidence issues.

You may be experiencing negative/critical self talk. You may be feeling overwhelmed but struggling to set boundaries and prioritise your needs. You may be feeling stuck, confused, lost, overwhelmed or struggling with your relationships.

Many of us have unmet needs from childhood which can cause us to repeat patterns of behaviour. Our past can affect how we think, feel and behave in the present. It can influence our perceptions, expectations, view of the world and others.

I work holistically using a variety of theories with an integrative approach to suit each client. This can be through a combination of talking, creative tools or more structured approach to sessions. Whichever feels right for you. We will work collaboratively at your pace with compassion and understanding,

I value our relationship and connection as human beings. This is at the very heart of what i do.

Connecting mind, body and soul by developing compassion, clarity, insight and self awareness. Therapy can help find your voice, facilitate self acceptance, healing, transformation and growth.

My belief is we all have the power to heal. I am passionate about what I do and feel privileged to be able to do this work. To be alongside you, as you walk your own path to create a fulfilling, meaningful and authentic life.

Practice description

As clients we are vulnerable and taking the first step can feel daunting at any time. It could be the first time you have accessed therapy or talked about your situation. The thought of saying the words out loud may feel scary. I will aim to make you feel welcome and at ease.

I am a fully qualified Therapist and member of the BACP. I have a wide range of experience working with clients at a local mental health charity and with the NHS.

In addition to my qualifications, I bring over 20 years of professional experience and expertise from my background in Corporate HR advice/coaching, in both the public and private sector.

I work with adults, face to face, online and by telephone.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m Hayley, a warm and intuitive therapist. I am passionate about helping you understand yourself and your relationships on a deeper level. I specialise in relationships, communication, self‑esteem, confidence and ADHD/neurodivergence.

You may recognise some of the following..

You might find yourself caught in anxious spirals, slipping into self‑criticism or people‑pleasing even when you don’t want to.

You feel overwhelmed or stressed, especially when it comes to saying no or setting boundaries.

Relationships can leave you confused or drained, worrying about upsetting someone or getting things wrong. You may overthink what others think of you.

Fear of being seen as a bad person, a constant sense of checking yourself against what feels right or wrong.

Decision‑making becomes difficult; you doubt your judgement or feel like you’re somehow not enough.

Different parts of you want different things, leaving you unsure of what feels true or what you really need.

Sometimes there’s just a quiet sense that something is missing or not quite right, even if you can’t explain it.

You may feel things deeply, highly sensitive to people, moods, or your environment and at times it all becomes a bit too much.

These experiences can feel exhausting and isolating. Many of these patterns have roots in earlier experiences and unmet childhood needs, and can continue to shape how you see yourself and relate to others.

You may find yourself doubting your own judgement, feeling responsible for other people’s feelings or reacting strongly when you feel criticised, rejected or ignored. It can feel as though you keep repeating the same cycles, even when you want things to be different.

I offer a space where we can gently explore what’s happening beneath the surface and understand these patterns with compassion and curiosity, so you can begin creating change that feels steady and sustainable.

Practice description

My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to suit you as an individual. Sessions might be reflective, creative, more structured or a blend. We’ll work collaboratively at a pace that feels right for you, exploring your experiences while developing practical tools you can use in everyday life.

Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you are not used to talking openly about how you feel. Saying things out loud can feel vulnerable or unfamiliar. I aim to offer a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself, without judgement and where you feel genuinely heard and understood.

Relationships and connection sit at the very heart of my work. I believe our relationships can profoundly shape us and a safe therapeutic relationship can also give us the opportunity to understand and change long held patterns.

I feel genuinely privileged to do this work. Being invited into someone’s inner world is not something I take lightly. I approach that responsibility with care, curiosity, respect and commitment.

Together we'll make sense of where these patterns began, how they show up in your life now, and what you need to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself.

My hope is that therapy helps you move towards a life that feels authentic, meaningful and aligned with who you are.
