Availability
I am a BACP-accredited therapeutic counsellor working with both children and adults. I offer face-to-face counselling from my therapy room in central Tunbridge Wells, as well as online and telephone sessions. I currently have availability for weekly appointments during weekdays, with some evening appointments also available.
If you decide to begin counselling, we will arrange one or more introductory sessions to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your hopes for counselling, and consider how we can work together to support your wellbeing.
About me and my therapy practice
My therapeutic approach is primarily person-centred, built on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. I believe that when people feel genuinely accepted and understood, they are better able to explore their thoughts and emotions safely. Alongside this, I integrate psychodynamic ideas where appropriate, helping clients understand how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and relationships may be influencing their present lives. By tailoring therapy to your individual needs, I aim to support greater self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.
I am fully committed to working ethically and confidentially, in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework.
Practice description
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. Whatever has brought you here, I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported at your own pace.

There are times in life when things simply don't feel right. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or uncertain about who you are or what you want from life. Perhaps you're constantly putting other people's needs before your own, finding it difficult to say no, or feeling guilty for asking for what you need. Stress, relationship difficulties, and persistent overthinking can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted.
If you've reached a point where you know something needs to change but you're unsure where to begin, counselling can provide the opportunity to explore what's happening, gain greater self-understanding, and find a way forward. Together, we can make sense of your experiences and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
I understand that choosing the right counsellor is an important decision. Before making any commitment, I offer a free, no-obligation telephone conversation where you can ask questions, find out more about how I work, and decide whether counselling with me feels right for you.
