About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified integrative therapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(BACP). My training brings together person-centred, psychodynamic, existential, and cognitive behavioural approaches, allowing me to tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all path.

I am also trained in online and telephone counselling, and I hold a foundation certificate in Bereavement Counselling. Alongside this, I have completed specialist training in certificate couples counselling, supporting partners to understand their relationship patterns and communicate more effectively.

I also have training in rewind therapy a gentle and effective approach for working with traumatic memories.

My commitment to ongoing professional development is central to how I work. I continually update and deepen my skills so that I can offer you a safe, grounded, and effective therapeutic experience

Practice description

I have experience of working with adults including older adults with self-esteem, loss, anxiety, depression, relational issues, family dynamics, and co-dependency. At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that meaningful change grows from a safe, attuned connection where you feel truly seen and understood.

My approach brings together both body and mind. I support you to ground and stabilise, helping your nervous system find balance so you can explore your inner world with greater clarity and resilience. This foundation allows us to gently uncover patterns of behaviour, understand where they come from, and develop more supportive ways of relating to yourself and others.

With 17 years experience in health and social care, I have a deep, hands-on understanding of the connection between mental and physical health. Combined with my counselling training, this enables me to tailor our work to your unique needs, drawing on creative and collaborative strategies that help you move towards your goals. My style is instinctive and responsive, always centred on what will best support your growth and self-awareness

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to find out what brings you to therapy and for you to ask any questions that you may have.

We can then book a 50 minute initial assessment where we can meet to explore more of what your current situation is and what you would like to achieve from coming to therapy.
