About me and my therapy practice
I offer friendly and supportive person-centred counselling for adults age 18 plus. My aim is to do everything I can to provide a space in which you feel at ease to explore the issues you are struggling with, your needs and your concerns.... a safe space to talk...a space where you are heard.
Counselling is an instrument for change. It is a unique situation. It offers time just for you. It is an opportunity to stop, to think, to reflect without distraction or demands on you or your time. It is a working relationship and we will work together to bring change about.
The therapy room in Mawdesley is set slightly back off the road, in a second floor converted barn space. It is one of three lovely therapy rooms that share the same private entrance.
Being a registered member of the BACP, I work professionally to the ethical framework which puts your care at the heart of all the guidelines. I provide a caring, non-judgemental counselling service.
I have experience of working with clients on the Mindsmatter/Talking Therapies IAPT programme, in Bereavement Counselling, at a local hospice and Women's Centre.
Areas I work in are Anxiety, Depression, Low Self Esteem, Bereavement, Loss, Low Self Confidence, Trauma, Family issues, Stress

For me, it's an opportunity to gain an understanding of where you are with the difficulties you are experiencing and to assess if my skills match your requirements.
