About me and my therapy practice

I’m an experienced BACP-accredited psychotherapist and counsellor. I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space for you to explore the challenges you’re facing and begin to understand what may be holding you back from living a more satisfying life. My approach, is laid back and non-judgemental. I have my own life experiences, which enhances my understanding of the work I participate in with my clients.

I realise that life can sometimes feel totally overwhelming, and there are times when anxiety, relationship difficulties or addictive behaviours can affect our day-to-day life and overall wellbeing. You may find yourself repeating patterns, feeling stuck or struggling to make sense of your thoughts and emotions.

My approach is to work with you to explore these difficulties at your own pace, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your experiences and the patterns that may be affecting your life. Together, we can begin to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and explore ways to move forward.

I believe that having the right space to talk openly, feel heard and understood, without fear of judgement, can be an important first step towards meaningful change. My aim is to support you in building greater self-awareness, developing healthier ways of coping and creating lasting changes that allow you to feel more confident, connected and in control of your life. I will help you untangle what's going on – so you can feel calmer and more in control on a day to day basis.

What to expect

We can also explore your expectations and what you hope to gain from the process, giving us a starting point for working together.

I have experience working across a wide range of areas affecting emotional and psychological wellbeing, including addiction and recovery. Through my own life experiences, I have developed an understanding of the complexities and challenges people can face, and I recognise that everyone's journey is different. I aim to offer an empathetic, supportive and non-judgemental approach, where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences at your own pace.

Creating a safe and confidential space where you can speak openly about your thoughts and whats going on for you is paramount in our work.

I realise that accessing counselling is an major step, and I want you to feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.
