About me and my therapy practice
Therapy isn't a "one-size-fits-all" process—it's a collaborative, neuro-affirming partnership. I work pluralistically to adapt our sessions around your unique brain, processing style, and goals. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we can safely explore internalised emotions—like unhelpful shame, masking fatigue, anxiety, or high self-criticism—helping you unburden protected parts of yourself and foster a grounded sense of self-identity.
Practice description
I work with adult men and women navigating neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism, AuDHD) across all stages of life. As the Director and Founder of Authentically Us CIC in Worcester, my work is rooted in a deep understanding of neurodiversity. I also offer specialised support for women navigating hormonal transitions—including the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and menopause—where hormonal shifts often significantly intensify neurodivergent traits and sensory load.
If you are an adult seeking a congruent, deeply understanding space where you can drop the mask and be genuinely heard, I invite you to reach out.
My first session
Your First Session & Neuro-Affirming Contracting:
First sessions are low-pressure, collaborative, and adapted entirely to your needs. There are no test questions or lengthy forms you need to fill out beforehand.
Co-Created Contracting: If you struggle with online forms or reading dense documents—whether due to dyslexia, ADHD, executive dysfunction, or processing fatigue—we can complete everything together verbally during our session.
Flexible Formatting: If you prefer written information, I can supply documents using dyslexic-friendly fonts, clear layouts, or audio format.
Sensory & Communication Needs: We will discuss your preferred communication styles, camera options, sensory needs, and break times right from the start.
My goal is to make our therapeutic space accessible, transparent, and completely free from administrative barrier anxiety.
