About me and my therapy practice

I know how challenging it can be to navigate life’s complexities and uncertainties. At times, life can feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling stuck, disconnected or unsure of who we are and where we are going.

I offer integrative psychotherapy, drawing on a range of approaches including Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Existential, Gestalt and mind-body connection. Rather than following a fixed method, I adapt to you – your needs, your pace and what feels most meaningful in your process.

My work is grounded in a holistic view of the person, taking into account the psychological, emotional, physical, and, for some, spiritual aspects of your experience. I believe that, in an imperfect world, we often learn to adapt in ways that take us away from who we really are. Therapy offers a space to gently reconnect with yourself, integrate different parts of who you are, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling way of living.

Fully licensed with the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I adhere to clinical standards of practice and work ethically and with care with adults of all ages from diverse backgrounds experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties.

You might come to therapy with anxiety, low mood or finding yourself facing difficulties in your relationships. You may be questioning aspects of your identity – including your sexuality or gender – or wanting to understand yourself, your patterns or your place in the world more deeply.

Whatever brings you here, I will welcome you with a warm, open-minded and curious presence, and aim to offer understanding, genuineness and creativity in a space where you can fully be yourself. I believe that the relationship we build together is at the heart of growth and healing.

I offer both long-term and short-term therapy, in English and French, and my experience of living across cultures informs a sensitive and open approach to each person’s unique background.

Practice description

I see therapy as a collaborative exploratory journey. Together, we will explore your emotions, internal processes and the experiences that have shaped you. We may reflect on protective mechanisms and patterns you have developed over time which may no longer serve you. We will also pay attention to what happens beyond words – such as unconscious processes, non-verbal communication and your bodily experience. Developing awareness of how you experience things in your body can offer a different kind of insight into yourself and your situation, often not accessible through thinking alone. This can open space for new understanding and change.

Our work together is not about quick fixes, but about taking the time to understand yourself more deeply. By making sense of how the past lives in the present, we can loosen patterns and beliefs limiting how you relate to yourself and others. This may also involve learning to sit with uncertainty, rather than rushing to resolve it. Over time, this can support greater flexibility and resilience.

The therapy room becomes a “mini-lab” where you can safely explore, question, and experiment with new ways of being and relating, before taking them into your life outside.

My role is not to give you answers, but to be alongside you in this process of self-discovery. I believe you already hold the key to a more fulfilling life, even if it feels out of reach at times. I offer a space to explore what may be in the way, while supporting you in connecting with your inner resources and gaining deeper insight into yourself.

Therapy can be challenging and, at times, unsettling. But it is also an engaging, enlightening and transformative process. It can help you live with greater awareness, make more conscious choices and build more authentic and fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Taking this step is already part of the change and I would be honoured to accompany you on this journey.

My first session

I know how difficult it can be to find a therapist who feels “right”, which is why I offer a free 20-minute phone chat to introduce ourselves and discuss your needs and expectations. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about my work and the process. This first contact allows us both to see if we feel comfortable working together.

After this, I will email you a short therapy agreement outlining the terms of my practice and our work together. Our first session will focus on understanding your needs in more detail. Unlike a usual session, I will guide with some questions and take notes to ensure I have a clear picture of your situation. This initial session is also an opportunity for both of us to decide whether we would like to continue working together.
