About me and my therapy practice

Master's-Level Integrative Psychotherapist (Person-Centred Core) | Trauma, Anxiety, Depression & Intensive Couples Therapy

I am a Master's-level integrative psychotherapist working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties through both individual and intensive couples’ therapy.

I specialise in trauma-informed psychotherapy, emotional distress, and relational breakdown, offering depth-oriented work with individuals and couples. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative and neurodiversity-affirming.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My approach integrates psychological understanding with a relational, reflective way of working, grounded in Person-Centred values of empathy, authenticity, and acceptance, and drawing flexibly on other therapeutic perspectives where appropriate.

My work focuses on trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and complex relational patterns. I also work intensively with couples experiencing entrenched conflict, communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, trust difficulties, and significant relational transitions.

I offer an inclusive, non-pathologising therapeutic environment for clients of all identities and backgrounds.

Practice description

Therapy with me offers a steady, reflective space for individuals and couples seeking depth, clarity, and sustained change.

Sessions are paced carefully, allowing time to reflect rather than rush towards solutions. Attention is given to both present emotional experience and the underlying patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others.

In individual work, this often involves exploring the impact of past experiences, recognising recurring emotional and relational patterns, and developing greater stability, self-understanding, and emotional regulation over time.

In couples therapy, the focus is on the live relational dynamic between partners. We slow down moments of conflict, withdrawal, or disconnection to understand what is happening between you, rather than becoming caught within the cycle itself.

Therapy provides a contained and reflective space where attention can be given fully to what is often difficult to hold alone in daily life.

I offer a discreet, thoughtful, and respectful therapeutic environment where the work is guided by your readiness and capacity, supporting meaningful and lasting change.

My first session

Individual Therapy

The first session offers space to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to understand or change.

We will look at current difficulties, relevant history, and what feels most important to focus on. There is no expectation to share everything at once; we work at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

This session also allows you to get a sense of how I work and whether the therapeutic relationship feels like the right fit for you.

Couples Therapy

The first session focuses on understanding the difficulties within your relationship and how each of you is experiencing them.

We explore patterns of communication, conflict, and disconnection, with the aim of understanding the dynamic between you rather than assigning blame.

It also provides an opportunity to experience how I work with couples and whether this structured, intensive approach feels appropriate for you both.

There is no expectation to continue if it does not feel like the right fit.

Fees
Individual psychotherapy: £85 per 50-minute session.
