About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on your individual needs and what emerges through our work together. My approach explores how past experiences and relationships may shape the present, while keeping your individual experience and capacity for growth at the centre of our work. Together, we may also explore broader questions around identity, meaning, choice, relationships, and how you want to live your life.

With experience in the NHS's inpatient and outpatient services and bereavement care, I have worked extensively with sexual and domestic abuse, loss, identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for over 20 years in the creative and publishing industries, bringing an additional understanding of creativity, identity, career pressures, and change to my therapeutic work. I am also a lecturer on psychotherapy programmes at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Practice description

In a confidential and non-judgemental space, we will explore what brings you to therapy and how past experiences may continue to shape the way you relate to yourself and others. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where I engage with your story, listen closely to what emerges between us, and help you explore the meaning behind patterns or symptoms that may no longer serve you. Together, we can challenge personal myths and long-held beliefs, develop greater self-awareness, and create space for new ways of relating, living and making choices that feel more aligned with who you are and what matters to you.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together, and any questions you may have. It also gives us a chance to get a sense of how it feels to work together and whether I am the right Psychotherapist for you.
