About me and my therapy practice

I have experience working with attachment. In life, this can feel like trying to thrive in the present but feeling stuck in amongst feelings, behaviours and experiences from the past. This might be affecting you in relationships, family life or at work.

I have also worked with Cruse Bereavement enabling me to support people who have experienced loss. These sessions allow you to talk about the things you perhaps can't say anywhere else.

I have completed research on the psychological impacts of the menopause in women and these feelings and struggles are welcome into session as you navigate daily life.

My work also includes working with parents with children with additional needs. Sessions allow parents/carers space to off load the feelings and frustrations they carry as well as celebrate the joys and we can work together to find the person amongst it all.

Through the work together I have seen people begin to feel confident in making their own decisions, changing aspects of their life, finding it easier to do things that were difficult before, even if these things look easy for everyone else, or making bigger shifts and fulfilling dreams or ambitions that have been on hold.

Sessions can be held face to face or online. I offer a free half an hour initial session to allow clients to explore their presenting issues and see how we can work together. My office is in the centre of Worcester and there is a lift available to reach my therapy room if needed.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This is an organisation which ensures I am practicing professionally, safely and ethically.

Practice description

My room for face to face sessions is in Worcester city centre, near to Foregate Street station for clients coming into the city. I also offer counselling sessions via Zoom.

My practice room is warm, comfortable and private providing a safe space to open up and explore your presenting problems.

There is a waiting area in reception where I will come to collect clients for their appointment. There is also a lift if needed.

My first session

After I receive your email, we can book in an assessment session. This is free and half an hour, either face to face or online depending on how you would like to attend the sessions.
