About me and my therapy practice
Fortnightly counselling sessions available – first session just £35 for a limited time! Weekly sessions are available too.
Let's be honest, no counsellor is perfect, and none of us has all the answers to life. We're human too!
I'm not here to sit on a pedestal, tell you how to live your life or pretend I have everything figured out. I'm a real person who understands that life can be messy, complicated and downright frustrating at times.
My aim is to offer a relaxed, down-to-earth, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, be yourself and explore whatever's going on, without feeling criticised or being told what to do.
Counselling doesn't have to be stiff, serious or intimidating. There can be difficult conversations, moments of reflection and even a bit of laughter along the way.
I use evidence-based techniques like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches, tailored to your situation. Whether it’s anxiety, stress, self-esteem, work-life balance, or life transitions, we work together to clarify what matters to you and take steps that lead to real progress.
What You Can Expect
✅ A confidential, respectful, and focused environment
✅ Tools to manage stress, build confidence, and navigate challenges
✅ Sessions available face-to-face or online during weekday hours
✅ A counsellor who listens, keeps things grounded, and won’t waste your time
Why Clients Choose Me
Personalized Approach: Sessions shaped around your needs and goals.
Compassion + Strategy: Empathy combined with practical steps for real-life results.
I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Professional Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) , which means I adhere to the Ethical Frameworks of both of these associations at all times.
Sessions are for individuals over the age of 18.
Please contact me for a free, no obligation chat today.
Practice description
I offer a completely non-judgmental safe space where confidentiality is of upmost importance. There is no pressure to continue, just the opportunity to see if you feel comfortable and want to proceed.
As we are all individuals, the therapy I offer is very much tailored specifically to you because there is no 'one size fits all'.
I am an affiliate with AXA,AVIVA, WPA and VITALITY insurance.
My first session
During our first session, we go through the Client/Counsellor contract which covers things such as cancellations, confidentiality, fees and goal setting. Once we have completed this, we then go on to do an informal assessment where I ask for general information such as a brief medical history and medications, what kind of support network you have, career and home situations.
This first session is mostly an opportunity for us to meet and see if we feel that we are the 'right fit' for each other and for you to see if you feel comfortable, without any pressure to commit to further sessions. The aim is to make you feel at ease, so it is all very low key and relaxed and not an intense experience at all.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Depression, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Men's issues, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Substance Dependency, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
