About me

Hello, I’m Elena. I am a UK-qualified integrative counsellor offering a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I understand that seeking counselling can feel daunting, and it takes courage to take that first step. My aim is to provide a supportive and non-judgemental environment where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.

How I work

I work from an integrative humanistic approach, which means I place you at the centre of our work. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I tailor sessions to meet your individual needs.

Together, we can explore your past experiences, present challenges, and future goals to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotional needs.

As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring both personal insight and professional knowledge of neurodiversity, offering an informed and understanding approach to how you experience the world.

I work flexibly and collaboratively, supporting you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, develop self-awareness, and move towards meaningful change.

I support individuals experiencing:

Childhood and adult trauma

Depression

Attachment and relationship difficulties

Perfectionism and all-or-nothing thinking

Low self-esteem and confidence

People-pleasing and boundary challenges

What to expect

You may be experiencing anxiety, a strong inner critic, or feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. These experiences can sometimes be linked to past relationships or challenging life events.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello — I’m Elena, a UK-qualified Integrative Counsellor and Registered Member of the BACP.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I know how hard it can feel when anxiety, trauma, or self-criticism seem to take over.

You might feel overwhelmed, tired of overthinking, or unsure how to move forward.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, be heard, and begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

 What I help with

  • Anxiety & Panic
  • Childhood and Adult Trauma
  • ADHD & Neurodiversity
  • OCD and Perfectionism
  • Depression & Low Mood
  • Relationship and Attachment issues
  • Low Confidence, Boundaries & People-Pleasing

How I work

My approach is integrative — I adapt therapy to you.

We look at your past, present, and future to understand patterns and build new ways of coping.

I draw on:

  • Humanistic and Relational methods — empathy, authenticity, genuine connection
  • Trauma-informed practice — gentle, steady pacing for safety
  • Neurodiversity-affirming understanding — flexible tools that suit how you think and process

Together we explore thoughts, emotions, and body responses, helping you feel more balanced and confident in daily life.

 A little bit about me

As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring both lived experience and professional insight.

I know that therapy isn’t “one-size-fits-all.”

We’ll work collaboratively, using strategies and structure that make sessions comfortable and focused for you.

I believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and accepted exactly as they are — and that healing begins there.

Practice description

My training in Humanistic Integrative Counselling combines several approaches to help you gain awareness and lasting change.

Through our work you may:

  • Understand how past experiences still influence the present
  • Build a kinder relationship with yourself and others
  • Identify the roots of anxiety or guilt and reduce their power
  • Reconnect thoughts, feelings, and body awareness
  • Develop a stronger sense of wholeness — living with your feelings, not ruled by them

Every technique is introduced gently and at your pace, keeping your space safe, ethical, and supportive.

I truly believe that “There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.” — John Green

My first session

Reaching out can feel daunting — I understand that.

My support begins the moment you send an enquiry.

  • I usually reply the same day by email and text (I won’t call unless you ask, to protect privacy).
  • If you don’t see my message, please check your spam or junk folder.

To see if we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute Zoom call — an informal chat where you can ask questions and learn how I work.

Please include your availability and preferred times in your message to make arranging easier.

If we decide to work together, I’ll send you an Online Therapy Agreement, Client Information Sheet, and CORE form before our first session.
