About me and my therapy practice

There are times in life when we can feel stuck, emotionally conflicted, or simply overwhelmed by the challenges we are facing, which may in turn begin to cause us difficulties in our daily lives. Sometimes allowing yourself time to stop and express what you are feeling in a neutral environment can help bring clarity and balance to your life.

Counselling can offer you a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space to unpick and explore some of your underlying issues, helping you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your world.

I am a qualified Counsellor with a Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis (BACP accredited). My approach is very much led by you and I use a blend of therapeutic interventions suited to your particular needs to help you work through your issues and bring some balance back to your life.

My role in the counselling process is based on respect, trust, and empathy, offering you a supportive space to safely share your thoughts and feelings, ensuring that you feel heard. We work together to explore what you are currently experiencing, with the aim of facilitating positive change and an improved sense of well-being.

Practice description

My private practice is based in welcoming spaces in Winchester and Southampton where I offer face-to-face and online sessions. I also work at a large GP’s Surgery in Chandler’s Ford. I have experience in working with young people over 18 and adults of all ages presenting with a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, cultural issues, divorce, health related issues, loss, miscarriage, PTSD, relationships, low self-esteem, and trauma.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling Practitioners (BACP) and practice within their Ethical Framework.
