About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative therapy where I draw from a number of approaches to work with you in a way that suits you and your individual needs. My practice is warm and non-judgmental, and I create an environment in which you can understand and make meaning of your experience.
How can therapy help?
Life is often complex and exploring issues in conversation with another person can be illuminating, facilitating understanding of the present, and perhaps how past experiences are influencing current issues. This can and does bring about change in our relationship with ourselves and others.
This non-judgmental approach and an empathic relationship creates the nurturing space where you will feel accepted and confident to express your feelings. These feelings may be about fear, lack of self-worth, buried trauma, rejection or grief, relationship issues, bereavement and loss, anxiety, stress and much more.
In our sessions I will listen to you and your situation and will be committed in working with you. I believe that if you experience this way of being listened to, you will find a way through your problems or difficulties.
You will become more clearer about who you are and what you need. I find this approach works well for me and the client whom I have worked with and hope you will to. There is nothing more gratify than seeing people take control of their life again and developing into the person they truly are.
You can determine how long we work together, with my support if you need it, and we can discuss ending as and when it feels right for you as part of our ongoing conversations. I work with presenting issues such as depression and anxiety, social anxiety, stress, relationship issues, attachment, bereavement and loss, loneliness, anger management to name a few.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced integrative therapeutic counsellor who offers solution focused short-term, and long-term therapy for adults, aged 18 and above.
My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is rooted in compassion and empathy for you as a unique individual. I work with a wide range of issues that may be impacting your life and how you feel about yourself. This could be a life event that is too big or painful to face alone; or maybe you can’t explain the low mood, anxiety, or racing thoughts you are experiencing and want to work towards deeper understanding and self-awareness.
I blend a range of theoretical modalities to create a holistic personalised therapeutic framework to help bring about change and deeper self-awareness.
I am committed to creating a confidential and private therapeutic counselling environment. This is either in person from my private practice in Barnet, North West and West London. Alternately I offer face-to-face nationwide online counselling from the comfort of your own home.
All locations are a short walk from tube stations and pay and display parking. Rooms are bright and spacious and are ideal for individuals and couples with a waiting area and intercom access.
I adhere to the ethical framework of the BACP and hold a full Enhanced DBS check.
Practice description
I know that this process can be a little bit intimidating reaching out for help is incredibly difficult, especially doing it for the first time.
This could be the most important step on your journey so far, it's normal to feel nervous to begin with. I will do what I can to help you feel at ease and ready for whatever comes next.
I will listen to you without judgement in complete confidence. I will offer my insights to help you explore how you would like your life to look and what you may be able to do to bring about those important changes. There's no magic wand, no overnight cure, but there is a space to decide what is important to you. We can work through any feelings of self-doubt, shame and fear and begin to hear your voice.
You may have had expectations and judgements throughout your life, suppressed your own feelings and beliefs to be accepted, and this has worked so far, but somewhere there has been a shift and your feelings maybe difficult to contain, leaving you feeling anxious, depressed, unresolved trauma being triggered? Using Person centered approach, I offer a non-judgmental space where you will feel able to reflect on your thoughts feelings anxieties and concerns.
Together, in a therapeutic relationship we can explore the impact these have on your everyday life I can support you in processing and identifying areas of difficulty and support you in moving forward.
