About me and my therapy practice
Working with me will provide you with a unique relationship that creates a supportive environment for you to gain insight and embrace who you are and how you connect with others. My practice is dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgemental space for those seeking support. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, loss, isolation, a lack of meaning, or a sense of hopelessness, we will work together to help you manage these challenges and build resilience for future obstacles.
I adopt a primarily person-centred approach to help you address the issues that bring you to counselling. Together, we can explore strategies, coping mechanisms, and options to help you make informed decisions about your life. Above all, being heard and understood is the most powerful tool in counselling.
Imagine being able to express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment, while being accepted for who you are. My goal as a counsellor is to ensure you feel heard and to work alongside you on your journey.
Practice description
If you believe we could work well together, please reach out for a free initial chat via phone, email, or text message. During this conversation, we can discuss your goals for counselling. If you decide to schedule an appointment, we can usually arrange it within a week. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is online or via telephone.
There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions required. Once you contact me and we've established what you want from counselling, I will email you my 'way of working,' detailing my confidentiality policy, data storage practices, complaints procedure, and everything you need to know about your sessions. If you're happy with these, we can then arrange your first appointment.
