My experience includes providing trauma-informed therapies and group programmes, with a focus on healing the impact of childhood and adult trauma. This has included the role of Adult Service Lead at a specialist award winning mental health charity.

I led London’s first Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Centre as Clinic Director. Where a team of psychiatrists, psychologists & therapists provided treatment for anxiety, depression and addiction. Please note, I do not accept enquiries for psychedelic assisted therapy or psychedelic integration therapy.

Practice description

My Qualifications

I am a qualified Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I hold a BSC Psychology first degree and a Certificate of Higher Education in Counselling and Counselling skills.

My Approach

My integrative (meaning more than one model) approach to therapy is informed by considering what might be most helpful to you. Your individual experience and needs are given priority.

My approach is informed by both traditional and contemporary models of therapy such as Developmental Psychology, Psychodynamic, Behavioural, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Jungian, Transpersonal Psychology, Depth & Archetypal Psychology and somatic/body-based therapies.

I work with an active knowledge of the neurophysiology of the human nervous system, emotions, attachment and relationships. This includes Polyvagal Theory, somatic/body-based approaches, applied mindfulness skills such as DBT and trauma-specific treatment approaches.

As a Transpersonal Counsellor I hold in mind an ethos of life that includes the heart and soul. I therefore, hold a space for the heart and soul in our work. In practice this means I hold a care and a trust for your own inner wisdom, your life’s unique personal journey and the evolution that your experience is inviting you into.

I have an interest in contemporary frameworks to understanding psychological and physical health such as functional medicine. This includes how the body, nutrition, body movement, creativity, the environment, our relationship with both the natural world and our social connections support emotional health and wellbeing.

I therefore bring a whole-person awareness when working with you.

I have a solid foundation of clinical experience and I do not believe that one size fits all. Together we will collaborate to create an approach to our work that will be most supportive for you.

My work has included working at practitioner, clinical and operational management and consultancy levels.
