About me and my therapy practice

As a Humastic Existential counsellor, my aim is to build a relationship with you that's based on safety and trust, and create an environment where you can explore whatever is on your mind, freely and without judgement.

Everyone is unique and sees the world differently, so I won't make assumptions about what you think or how you feel about the topics you bring to counselling. Instead, my focus will be to see things from your point of view by reflecting your words back to you and asking questions to understand more about what you're sharing with me.

Everyone needs purpose in life and sometimes we lose ours, particularly when going change or loss. When this happens, it can feel like we've lost who we are and what we want. My approach is about helping you make sense of what's going on, so you can see things more clearly and take responsibility for making the choices that are right for you.

Practice description

I’m a counsellor, offering UK wide online and over the phone therapy, as well as in person therapy in Talbot Green or Bridgend, South Wales.

I work to create a relaxed environment for you to bring any issues you'd like to focus on, big or small. Whether you're new to counselling or have previous experience, we'll work together to create a personal plan for your needs. I offer counselling in either one off sessions, pre-agreed blocks (4,8,12,16) or open ended work, depending on what suits you.

Some people like to bring specific goals to their sessions, whereas others are more comfortable with a more explorative approach - seeing where our work will naturally take us.

Whether working online, over the phone, or face to face, counselling is somewhere you can say what’s on your mind and sort through your feelings, without being judged or told what to do.

We all go through difficult times, and counselling can help

Whether you're going through loss, change or you know something just isn’t right, sometimes it’s helpful to talk things through with someone who can listen to you, without giving their opinion, and can work with you to find the best outcome for you.

My first session

I offer an optional and free 30 minute phone consultation first, without any pressure to commit to anything.

During this call, we'll spend some time getting to know each other  and you can ask me about how counselling works and my therapeutic approach. It's also a chance for me to hear a little about yourself, what you'd like from counselling and any goals you may have.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial chat, please feel free to contact me!
