About me and my therapy practice

I am a person centred therapist  with extensive experience in helping people to explore issues that are upsetting or worrying them or disrupting their lives. Together we can work through each issue and take it apart bit by bit to find the answers you are searching for. I will work at your pace and provide a safe space for you to talk in confidence.

I offer one off sessions (90 minutes), or weekly, fortnightly and monthly sessions - each session is for 1 hour and can be online or face to face.

Practice description

I specialise in working with people who have been impacted by suicide, in particular those outside of the immediate family circle whose life has unexpectedly been turned upside down by the death of someone they know, this may be a neighbour, a client, a colleague, a gym buddy, a fellow student, your child's best friend etc.

Suicide can impact so many people, quiet often people think they don't have the right to feel the grief or the loss as they are not a close family member.  I am here to support you through this difficult journey of loss and pain and can hold a safe space for you to explore your feelings and thoughts while empowering you to be able to live your best life going forwards.

I also work to support people with issues around social anxiety, depression, low mood, low self worth, relationships, family conflict, grief and loss, living with HIV or other life long medical conditions, life style issues and work related issues.

I work with people of all ages over 18 and welcome all genders.

My first session

I offer a FREE 30 minute online session to ensure we are a right fit for each other.

It is so important for the therapist and the client to 'gel' so we can get the best outcome for you.

I will look to understand what brings you to therapy and what you would like to get from it.

Alternatively if you need a safe space to offload or dump your thoughts & feelings I offer one off 90 minute sessions so you can just let go of what you are carrying around internally. These one off sessions cost £75.00 and can help you to get things out into the open, allowing you a clear space in your mind to know what you need to do next. You can bring any topic to these sessions and if necessary I can signpost you for further support and assistance.

These sessions also allow you an opportunity to see if Person centred therapy is right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer person centred therapy at a time and pace that suits you.  I specialise in working with those impacted by suicide, in particular those outside of the immediate family. Perhaps you are a colleague, gym buddy, a fellow student, a neighbour, friend or the local shop worker who spoke to the person every day. Suicide impacts many people and often their grief is overlooked. I am here to work with you through your journey of grief and loss.

I also work with complex grief and loss as well as stress, anxiety, family conflict, living with a lifelong diagnosis and every day life issues.

Practice description

I offer non judgemental therapy in a confidential environment where I will sit with my clients and hold a safe space while they bring their issues out into the open.

Perhaps you don't want to commit to weekly sessions due to lack of funds or time, I am very flexible and offer weekly, fortnightly or one off sessions. The one off sessions are 90 minutes whilst all other sessions are 60 minutes.

My first session

I offer a FREE 30 minute zoom session so we can introduce each other and see if we are a good fit to work together. Good therapy only happens when the client and therapist have a good connection so trust can be built in order for the client to be able to completely open up in the therapy space. In this time I will explain exactly how the therapy works, what you can expect from me and I will be wanting to hear what you would like to achieve from the therapy.
