About me and my therapy practice

You cannot go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending" CS Lewis

Are you feeling stuck, misunderstood, unmotivated, lacking in confidence, sad, frustrated, overwhelmed, anxious or like you are "not enough?"

Do past experiences feel weighty and continue to impact your present day?

Does breaking old patterns currently feel impossible?

I am a Gestalt trained therapist who will help you understand yourself more clearly, make connections and discover ways to remove barriers so that you feel empowered to live the life you desire. By raising awareness of how you are in the world, where this may have come from, and what is currently in the way, you will feel confident to make changes that have previously felt impossible to make.

My therapy room is a warm, inviting space where you will feel seen, heard and understood- perhaps for the first time. Through our therapeutic relationship, processing past experiences brings healing, questioning current beliefs brings change and an increased confidence in your ability to navigate the future, empowers you to live your life fully. Our work together will not always be easy, but ultimately the awareness you gain, and possibilities we explore - can be life-changing.

I work with clients in a broad range of issues- specialising in helping clients to understand their family and relationship dynamics and working with anxiety.

As well as supporting clients privately and in a secondary school, I am also a Clinical Supervisor, supporting therapists and other professionals. Here I create a collaborative space where supervisees feel supported, safe to explore, gently challenged and inspired to develop their client/professional work.

About me and my therapy practice

As a Gestalt trained Clinical Supervisor, I offer a warm, collaborative space for supervisees to explore and enhance their client work. Through sessions, I reflect with supervisees on their current case load and, where appropriate, identify how personal processes may be impacting their work.

I am passionate about creating a supervisory relationship where supervisees can celebrate moments of success, discuss ethical dilemmas, identity/be guided in areas for growth, be gently challenged, and ultimately feel inspired to develop professionally so that they provide the best possible care for their clients.

Working as a therapist is an exceptionally rewarding, but often  challenging and isolating experience, so I foster a creative environment where supervisees feel listened to, supported, empowered so that growth feels possible.

I have experience working with therapists in training, professionals in organisations, those in private practice and experienced therapists looking to explore the direction of their practice. I also work as a therapist in a secondary school and support professionals (teachers and therapists) in a school setting so understand the safeguarding implications and the differences working with young adults. I am Gestalt trained but work with other modalities and can provide sessions in person or online.

My aim for supervision is to create a joint endeavour for supervisees to explore client work, personally processes, the wider systemic context and by doing so, improve the quality of their work, transform their client relationships and help them to continuously develop themselves and their practice.

Sessions are £65 per hour, £97.50 for 1.5hours.
