About me and my therapy practice

I understand that deciding to seek counselling can be daunting. Counselling offers a space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings safely. Together, we can create an environment for change and that you feel truly heard. I understand that sometimes life can feel overwhelming. Are you struggling with anxiety or being weighed down by work and complex thoughts or emotions? Maybe you feel demotivated or experiencing low self-esteem from relationship and work pressures.

I have worked with a diverse range of people on a variety of life and issues in the NHS and Not for Profit Sector as well as in private practice. I also have experience in providing support to clients with neurodiversity. I will listen and help you recognise unhelpful patterns that may be stopping you from feeling connected to yourself and others around you.

My approach is firmly rooted in humanistic and holistic principles, where I aim to provide a compassionate and welcoming environment, yet I am integrative drawing on a range of modalities and techniques, inviting you to delve into your feelings, emotions, and underlying issues without fear of criticism or judgment finding compassion for yourself and allowing you to move on from negative thoughts and behaviours.

My process strongly emphasizes a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship while continually ensuring we move at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Practice description

I currently work online and in-person at The Practice Rooms, Stokes Croft, Bristol.

My first session

It's important to feel comfortable with the counsellor you choose, so I am happy to provide a free 15-minute consultation, which will give you the opportunity to learn more about me and decide whether or not we would be a good fit for working together.
