About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor offering support to young people (16–18) and adults since 2014. The core of my practice is grounded in person-centred counselling, valuing empathy, authenticity, and non-judgemental support. I aim to provide a safe, confidential space where trust and therapeutic change can develop at your own pace.
As an integrative counsellor, I work flexibly, drawing on approaches such as Person-Centred Therapy, Brief Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. This allows me to tailor my work to meet your individual needs.
Alongside my counselling work, I am also a qualified trauma-informed breathwork facilitator. My understanding of trauma includes a somatic perspective, recognising that experiences can be held within the body as well as the mind. Where appropriate, this awareness may gently inform our work together, supporting a deeper connection to present-moment and felt experience.
I have experience working with a wide range of presenting issues, including work with adults and young people in the criminal justice system and clients affected by substance misuse. At times, I may offer gentle suggestions or techniques to support exploration and change.
I believe in the power of genuine connection and collaborative exploration to support growth and healing, and I look forward to the possibility of working together.
