About me and my therapy practice

Relationships are central to our lives. How we relate to ourselves, connect with others, and engage with the world around us shapes our well-being and influences how we navigate and experience life. At times, challenges in these areas can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected.

I work with clients on a range of issues connected to relationships, both with the self and with others. These include anxiety, low self-esteem, attachment issues (such as difficulties with emotional intimacy and trust), anger, burnout, depression, addiction, breakups, infidelity, infertility, difficult family dynamics, grief, loss, and more. The challenges we face are often deep-rooted or long-standing, but they may also emerge or intensify during periods of transition or change.

Our pasts and present experiences merge to shape how we see ourselves, connect to others, and respond to life's demands. In therapy, we'll work together to explore your beliefs, behaviours and patterns in a compassionate, non-judgemental space. My approach supports an expansion of awareness, the development of effective coping strategies, and the nurturing of healthier emotional connections.

Seeking therapy often reflects a need to be heard, a desire for clarity or peace, or a recognition that something needs to change. Inner conflict may show up as fight, flight or freeze responses, unhealthy coping strategies, perfectionism or a harsh inner critic.

If you're ready to reflect more deeply on your experiences, I offer a supportive relationship where you can explore your challenges with compassion and psychological insight. My practice is grounded in developmental, attachment and trauma-informed approaches, providing a thoughtful and informed framework to facilitate your meaningful personal growth.

Practice description

I am experienced working with both adults and teenagers, having supported clients through therapeutic agencies such as Choose Therapy and London Young Counselling. Before becoming a therapist in 2019, I spent nearly a decade in education, supporting neurodivergence and those learning English as an additional language (EAL). This experience deepened my understanding of diverse needs and continues to shape my empathetic, inclusive approach.

I hold a first-class BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My training spans several approaches - psychodynamic, person-centred, cognitive-behavioural (CBT) and existential therapies. As an integrative therapist, I aim to meet your unique needs, offering a flexible and personalised approach. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s rooted in a compassionate space where you feel heard and understood and your individuality is honoured.

I see clients in person at my therapy room at 4 Devonshire Street, London W1W. Here I have limited availability and may have a waiting list for certain times. My in-person sessions are charged at the rate of £80 a session. I offer a reduced rate for online video sessions of £60 per session (which reflects their incurring lower hosting costs). It is important to me that people who seek it have access to therapy, so please enquire about concession rates if you feel that you may be eligible.

Please contact me to discuss your unique needs and discuss what you are looking for in regard to working together in the short or longer term.

If I am unable to help you or meet your needs I may be able to refer you to a colleague who is equipped to.

My first session

I know it can feel a bit daunting to reach out to a therapist for the first time. Let me reassure you that I will meet you with concern for your well-being and non-judgement of your experiences, and that our work will move at a pace that you are comfortable with. I'm here to support you.

I appreciate that you may like the opportunity to speak together over the phone before booking a session. I am happy to have up to a 15-minute phone call with you to discuss your needs and consider how you feel about working together. You are also welcome to email me with any queries.
