About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly and take things at your own pace. Therapy doesn’t have to feel formal or intimidating — it can simply be a place where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself.
My approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, meaning I believe you are the expert in your own life. I won’t analyse or judge you — instead, I’ll work alongside you with honesty, empathy, and acceptance. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings in a way that feels safe and manageable for you.
I work flexibly, offering one-to-one and small group sessions via phone, video call, or in person. Whether you are looking for short-term support or longer-term therapy, we can work in a way that suits your needs.
Practice description
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor with a background in psychology, holding a degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychology.
I have experience working within a busy NHS IAPT service and in acute mental health settings, supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. My experience includes working with early pregnancy loss, trauma, bereavement, domestic abuse, life-changing illnesses, and long-term health conditions.
I understand that it’s not always easy to reach out for support, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You also don’t need to find the “right words” — we can make sense of things together.
My aim is to provide a space that feels real, supportive, and easy to talk in, where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. I will work alongside you at your own pace, helping you to explore your experiences and develop a greater sense of self-awareness and emotional wellbeing.
