About me and my therapy practice

The truth is, we will all find ourselves in need of emotional support at some point in our lives. People usually reach out to me when their feelings have become difficult to manage, their relationships are being negatively impacted, and everyday life feels like a struggle.

I bring human understanding alongside a variety of therapeutic experience. My aim is to provide a comfortable space where you can talk openly about your concerns and make sense of how you are feeling. Whatever brings you to counselling, I will work alongside you to understand your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

I know first-hand how difficult it can be to share your vulnerabilities, so I will work at your pace, helping you feel heard, understood and supported.

About me and my therapy practice

I provide a warm, compassionate space where you can talk openly about your concerns, make sense of how you are feeling, and explore the changes you would like to make. Whatever brings you to counselling, I will work alongside you to understand your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

My approach...

My approach is calm and welcoming, bringing my human side and sense of humour into sessions when appropriate.

I know first-hand how difficult it can be to share your vulnerability, so I make sure we work at a pace that  feels comfortable to you.

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective counselling.

Together, we can...

  • Identify the key areas you want to focus on, so your sessions reflect what matters most to you
  • Work through relationship challenges and explore how they impact your daily life
  • Gently look at past experiences and how they might be shaping your feelings and connections today
  • Navigate grief, loss and significant life changes
  • Challenge negative self-views, feelings of not being good enough and self-doubt
  • Develop practical coping tools for managing overwhelming emotions
